Audible screams of torment and torture could be heard to the East of Kampos outpost amidst the Actand occult's cove during the night. Any that would deem to investigate their cove would find the place littered with the dismembered bodies of the prior residents and a pentagram drawn in blood on the floor amidst the inner chamber of their cavern-den.

Upon questioning any of the residence of the outpost they would not that a women garbed in gypsy like attire,
carrying a staff attuned with a red crystal would be seen coming from that direction each morning the sounds were heard the previous night.

The only person that she was seen talking directly to amidst the outpost was the shady merchant that most amongst them tend to stay away from. If he were to be picked for information one would discover that the woman introduced herself by the name of Syn.

A broad woman and her badger came upon the grisly scene just a few hours past. The cult had apparently rebounded, attempting to take care of their brutally murdered dead. Fate was not kind to them, however, as they were dealt a second blow by blade and claw. When she pierced the inner sanctum, the pentagram gave her pause. "What kinn'na cult slaughters their own members.. for this?" The question echoed off the cave walls, unanswered. The bloodstained beast at her side certainly didn't offer any insight, though she looked to it all the same.

Out of passing curiosity, she knelt down looking for tracks leading to answers.

The tracks would not offer much in the way of detail.
One noticeable difference however, is that one of the sets of footprints were different from all the rest. Whilst most in the gravel were boot prints these has the distinct gridlock pattern of sandals. And judging by the size, beffiting of a human woman. These footprints would make a sidestepping pattern in the gravel all around the pentagram in the center of the den.
Though if she were to notice. Another out of place substance would be within the confounds of the den, mostly straddled upon what was left around the remains and around the pentagram itself. Ectoplasm.
