Pilineth is seen more frequently in the dale, wearing her silver chainmail more often than her green leathers. She stands taller than before, the symbol of Arvoreen emblazened on her brooch fastening her cloack. The Dale has gained itself a New Co-Captain.

Written in hin.  Khief - Wears dark clothing from head to toe and wears this symbol on his cloak. Has been bothering us for weeks. Already banned by Captain Lyam Thornhill and to be removed by any force necessary. He has been seen laying traps in the Dale as of late. Some travelers mistake him for one of our own. Under Captain Lyam's orders, I shot him down while he was sneaking about the Dale lands, knocking him unconscious. We were trying to have him delivered to the knights. Suspected to be working with the rising new cult of necromancers who has a symbol similar to Cyric's. Yufie - Wears various clothing, but currently white armor looking clothing with a white hood to match. Red coloring in various places including her cloak and the tip of her staff. Previously banned for necromancy, Yufie recently took the Mark of Justice willingly bestowed by the Mayor under Kirby, Laurel, and Serena as her witness to repent. Yufie has claimed to have authority from the Mayor to arrest Lieutenant Belalad for his attempt to remove Godo, an enemy of the Dale, from our lands. OOC: Yufie's post has been edited due to OOC conflicts.

grrr i never casted that spell, i said clearly in OOC that it was a misclick! i am still making my spell bar none evil. also, yufie never declared she had permision to arrest anyone, she said she would arrest them herself and take them to the guards to sort out if there was any violence in the dale, reguardless of who they are. shes not banned again is she?

Recently attacked as a Copper Industries employee was working on building the wall for the Northern Gate by animating two adventurers to crumble the wall. Godo - Also a known enemy of the Dale. Has been reported to interfere with the efforts to build the Gate. Has recently been trying to rebuild the Buck Tooth clan.

That Godo also was attacking folk in front of the construction site yesterday. He was removed. The people he was attacking were 1 goblin, 1 human, 1 fey and 1 elf. They all got mad because their lives were saved for some reason. The human was saying he would come back and do something because his "kinsmen" were being removed from Bendir Dale. Pretty sure he was talking about those goblins being banned and all.

Roim & Unauthorized Drow - Multiple witnesses confirm Roim escorted an unauthorized drow inside the Dale gates without having the authority to do so. The drow in question does not match any description of allowed drow inside the Dale, was hooded upon Roim's escort, and brandished two weapons inside the Dale for an extended period of time. Roim, when confronted by a Lathanderan, claimed to be performing a magical study on the drow by fully enchanting her weapons inside the gates. The drow in question was a shadowdancer who hid in the shadows multiple times in front of the witnesses.

First off I did not let the drow in the gates he stood by the lathanderite you spoke of.As the lathanderite you spoke of sat there and did nothing to her for a period of time when I was asking him if he had a blade.Please do not spread lies and slander about me.
After a long period of time I asked her to drink experamental potions and oils.She had no blades so I went and bought two from the merchat for her to test the oils with.
Again the lathanderite sat there saying nothing.Apon the conclusion of my oil experament.Seeing how long they last.
A woman came into the village and the lathanderite began to speak of laws and such.Apon him requesting she put the blades away and offered them to me.
As for here not bring permited I know not who is and isnt as we have many drow visitors.And even if I knew I am otherised to do nothing need I reminf you.
Lastly as for hifing if she did I was able to spot her so I did not notice.

It Was covered in wite robes with a hood I had no way to Know and am not familar with all the drow discriptions who are allowed besides Crows wife.But as I did not bring her into town I assumed she was allowed as the gaurds did not stop her.

So you allowed a -hooded-, -unknown- Drow to enter the Dale and did not even tell them to take off their hood? Don't let me hear that happened ever again, thank you kindly. Familiarize yourself with the list and memorize it. We have rules and they are to be observed without exception. They are in place for every citizen's safety.

It is my understand and has been repeated by numerous "officials* that citizens are not permitted to enforce any laws. That this duty falls to the militia. As Roim is not a member of the militia not only is it not his responsiblity but is actually written that laws are to only be enforced by members of the militia unless the citizen is deputized as needed.
Sorry Nina I hate to point this out.. which is it? Citizens are suppose to or stay out of it.

However, you -are- free to give them a friendly reminder, just don't order them like you are a member yourself.

It's the tactic of fools and the uninformed to twist one's words against them. One cannot simply lump all aspects of the law into "law enforcement," as enforcing the laws and reminding visitors of them are two entirely different things.
Presume that Bendir Dale were to come under attack. Your homes, lives and families are threatened with impending death or capture. Would you simply sit by and say, "Oh well. I'm not allowed to participate because I am not a militia member," or would you defend your homes? I should certainly hope you would defend yourselves. To do otherwise and sacrifice lives and property for the sake of proving a shallow point would be absolutely foolish.
To defend inaction in this case is no less severe, or foolish.
My friends, I understand the concept of benefit of the doubt. I understand that in most cases, it is important to look at all facets of a conflict before reaching a conclusion. However, in some cases, it is also important to understand that sometimes one cannot allow oneself to be blinded by such pleasantries. When judging a conflicting story between two average citizens, for example, it is important to note that benefit of the doubt, among other things, is important to be observed, as both likely have trustworthy elements in their respective retelling. However, when it comes down to the word of a knight and that of a trusted citizen against that of a kin-murderer with a known history of such things as attempting to steal corpses, consorting with known enemies of Bendir Dale and destroying a wedding party out of sheer folly, it becomes a case in which the truth is often staring you right in the face.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are irrelevant. Importance here lies with the undeniable events which occurred. This man who stands accused of so many things already and has clearly proven himself to be mentally unstable armed and enchanted a hooded stranger within Bendir's walls. The fact that this stranger was indeed a drow, while certainly not improving the situation, has little to do with this fact. It could have just as easily been a human, tiefling, genasi or any other race. The fact of the matter remains the same. As for his defensive statement that he was merely "testing experimental oils and potions," common sense would tell any sane and stable person that these experiments could have been just as easily and more safely performed on members of the militia, trusted citizens, or even himself. Yet instead, he chose an unidentified stranger. Were I one whose judgment held weight, I would boldly state that this man is either dangerously unstable, or harbors malicious intent towards our Dale. It very well may be both. How much longer are we to tolerate such dangerous folly to occur within our walls? How much longer are we to suffer this stain on our already tarnished reputation?
And to those who would defend him, I offer only this: Reconsider your alliances. Those who run with dogs will soon begin to howl.

Seeing the few posted letter Krugan will frown, gently sighing. He will put up a small note to one side of the list. Quote: Common sense has long since become not so common in the Dale. Confusion, chaos, arrogance, pride, foolhardiness and more have become common.
Where once gentleness, kindness, goodness and tolerance stood. Now hardheartedness, foolishness and intolerance stand strongly.
The defenses of the Dale need to be strengthened now and are, which is good but, the unanswered question is this...why?
What has changed to turn Bendir Dale from a simple crossroad stop with walls to stop the occasional bandit or troll into an armed fort and camp?
What has caused so many to now count the Dale as hostile? What has changed?
Where friends shed their blood in its defense. Where allies worked tirelessly to keep the wolves from the walls. Where defenders hunted the enemies knows to seek its destruction and despoil the lands and kidnap or kill its populous, seeking only to be accepted within the community they are turned away for no crime committed.
This at a time when the wolves are gathering around the walls and those inside toss meat over the same daring the hungry creatures to dare attack all the time the scent of fresh meat drawing more and more wolves far and wide.
Is this the Bendir Dale that the community wants? At a time when the old mayer is stepping down and a new unproven one will take his place?
It appears to be so.
If one hooded drow, one lone resident, one incident can cause this much turmoil....what chaos will be unleashed when a horde breach the walls, felling guards and laying waste to the Dale or at a minimum, destruction will rain down upon the land.
Have all forgotten so soon the deadly attack of but three people that left dozens of defenders dead on the ground?
From an outsiders view, shared by many if my ears are true, I tell you this. You are treating symptoms of a sickness but not the sickness itself. So long as the sickness remains, the symptoms will ever return lest the body dies from it.
Just one set of eyes, ears and senses view. I pray the sickness will be treated soon.

The dark clothed tiefling, hancel, would be seen looking through the notices for perhaps a chance at earning coin. He shakes his head.
The dale seems to be full of fools. To be against one another in such a time is sure to end with blood.
He would say out loud to himself not caring who would hear him. He smiles a wicked smile and leaves the town hall.
