Tauronemhet, Warrior and Soldier, Judge and Executioner, Second of Djedet amongst the Housed Warriors stood forlornly amongst the corpses of the Grave Robbers he had dispatched in the flanking halls. The dwarven crafted hammer had sung a bloody song amongst these nothings and would continue to do so as more rose from the depths beneath the temple.
It was a small wonder to him that the Sekolan Raiders did not make the ascent but the rain of thieves had fell upon him thickly. He had stripped of the plate he normally wore, for this was honorless work, taking five or six unskilled savages at once. The Brotherhood shield was likewise discarded and buried safely in the Whispering Rift should he fall. A round shield, plain timber and painted red replaced. Red to hide the thick coating of vermillion spray from compoud fractures caused by the sweep of the Hammer in his hand.
Honorless work dispatching thieves, and more yet came, always more.
