A Bear-Shouldered figure, clad in darkened robes and Shemagh places a notice within the entry of the Complex.
So is founded the Order of the Scions of the Feather, whose brothers and sisters shall be known only as the Feathersworn. So they have been ordained by the last of the sepat's Forerunners, Tauronemhet son of Mestenet, Arbitrator of Djedet, Glorious Servitor of Osiris, a Brother amongst the Brotherhood of Those who Smile in the face of Death.
Let it be known amongst the commons, amongst the slaves and amongst the nobles that the Feathersworn live and die by their guiding principles, principles founded upon Ma'at and Honor.
I
Service to the God-Kings, is paramount and above all else. To Serve with the Feathers is to do the God-Kings work, thus to serve within the Feathers is to serve their represtantives on Faerun. Obey ye the direction of those of higher blood, but do not obey blindly into certain ruin.
II
Discharge with honor, the will of the Shemsu of the Djedet sepat, let the Shemsu be of all the Sepats people. Let no Feather be above another, if a slave woman has thirst, the God-kings look kindly to those who would give of their water skin. So shall the Feathers be the husband to the Widow and the Mother to the Orphan.
III
The Feather Sworn do not casually waste lives, waste of even the lowest blood is an affront in the eyes of the Ma'at. For in the eyes of the Ma'at the lowest slave is considered equal to the Pharoah.
IV
Guard well the young, the old and the feeble of the sepat, for they are all the God-Kings people, let no foreign usurpers shed our blood upon our sands. Righteous veangance should pay them who pervert the laws of the sepat. Blood is paid in kind.
V
Adherence to Ma'at is of paramount importance. Those sworn to the Feather are sworn to protect the cosmic Harmony. So swearing they are oathbound. Oathbreakers will be hunted mercilessly.
Know ye then, that the Feathersworn are tested true.
A test of Piety:
One must conqueor the Whispering Rift, fighting shades that are not shades, and pay obseciance to the Gods. Such a test must be undertaken beneath the watchful gaze of one who has tested to the Feather.
A test of Bloodline:
Those who have tested to the Feather and who have the Divine gifts of the God-Kings must perform the Third circle spell to test the Blood lineage of those who are untested. This shall be proof that none harbor tainted blood less than the fourth generation removed.
A test of Ma'at:
Those aspiring to the Feather should spend a day in solitude, contemplating succinctly the 42 negative confessions and atoning for any confession they may not utter. Following contemplation they would be taken aside by Tauronemhet son of Mestenet and tested a final time, though the manner of testing be secret, and remains secret.
Know ye then, that the Feathersworn are oathbound.
Oath of the Feather Sworn
I am an Ikm of Ma'at, my heart weighs no more than the feather.
I am a Khopesh of Ma'at, I act with mercy always in my heart.
I wear Ma'at as armor and hold with it until my final breath.
So do I <Name> <Patronage> swear fealty to the Shemsu forsaking even life in service

Lord Arbitrator, at the meeting of the Shemsu, you stated Freewoman Talyne was also qualified to take her Oath. Was it a misstatement or mishearing on my part?
