Could someone write up all relevant info for those of us who couldn't be there but were invited?

3AM GMT for me seemed a pretty bad choice of time for those in the western European area.. Hopefully next time there will be a better time for the event.

Also, will the encampment (wooden fortifications, permanent tents and crates for example) be added into the event area next time or will it require screenshots before anything gets added?

Hopefully by the weekend the first main update will have gone in. I've done some contruction work on the northern shores, and redistributed the tents and such whilst adding NPC's with their own personalities and such.

I will be online around noon (GMT +10) Friday, Saturday and Sunday. At the moment weekdays are out for me because I can only operate till about 10pm (GMT +10) due to school commitments.

I just came from there. There is not 1 npc I could see anywhere on the map. And the walls the PCs RP'd building are not represented in the least. All the bodies on the north shore were buried or put to the torch who could not be raises.

Where in Djedet is the portal (going to be if Im mistaken)?

May do something tommorow noonish +10 GMT if the server is back up to full spec. Depends on how much of my assignment I get done in the morning.

Will try to be there. However I may need to stay out of combat. We are living in the country with some friends and a satellite link up for net right now. We have mere .23 mps for our upload and .43 mps for our download. Thats with one of us online. split that for two of us... See! We are bad off!

T'was fun, sadly it got a bit late and I had to leave, after needing to be awake early in the morning (today). Lateness will not be of concern from the 25th until the 30th, when I will maybe have to time my sleeping again for another week. After that week though, I'm good until september.

Sorry, with this event if you were invited, but could not make this particular portion of it IC, you would not know what happened until you got a chance to speak to one that was there IC. There will be other Events pertaining to this calamity in the future you will most likely get to join.

The event area is indeed getting modified and becoming a semi-permanant area that can be accessed from Djedet for the duration of the War cycle of this plot. This enables me to run events and you guys to RP in the area when I'm not there and for other DM's to mess with your heads within reason.

Mosh did mention he was working on an area update of some sort (presumable this is it). When he gets it to me I can ninja-update the area with the changes, but for now you have the portal so you can RP there at least

Tonight yes but tomorrow at said time I should be at the table rolling dice & tormenting party members, it's my turn in the rotation to DM the campaign for a few weeks. I'm usually home around 1AMish my time (-5 GMT) maybe I can hop over once I'm home. I will inquire about starting our session early and see if I can't get home in time to make it for the festivities.

Few questions on the portal, can anyone use it?, Do the guards at the near by gates strictly monitor or disallow traffic to anyone? Such as someone banned from certain areas near by?

Pidge edited my post by accident and made me look like I was replying to myself like a crazy person. ...To above poster: Your character can use the portal, but he/she has to be prepared to face the massive number of PCs and NPCs on the other side - if you're not an ally, you'll be sent packing.

I have alot of things on my plate right now, and it'll be done when I do it because Glim has a similar number of things on his plate and I didn't want to bother him, and the designer I would usually go to, to get this done quickly is involved in the event so I didn't think it fair on her to have to do the OOC for it because it impinges on the enjoyment of the story. Nothing is preventing anyone from using imagination in the short term.

Going to try to be around starting somewhere between 9pm and 10pm CST (4-5 hours from now). Cant make promises as I dont fully know what the schedule here for this program is. But if you can be around might as well join me in the River of Swords.

If you are barred from Djedet then the Djedetan Guards, Mulhorandi Warriors and the Silver-hue Asabi on the otherside of the portal (though as yet not manifested in game because I have fuck all time at the moment due to school) will more than likely tell you to take a long walk of a very short plank.

Going to try to get some people around just for RP and the likes tomorrow. Say about 9pm CST (I'll be around most of the day though if anyone wants to show up). This is roughly about 20 hours from this post! But like I said lets get some more people out and about at the river just if you got time to kill show up eh?
