The Miracle Prayer

Mother Isis, bring forth from your glittering rivers and oceans the clear waters that once sparkled across these lands. May these small joys of life, and love, be no more a mystery than the air we breathe.

Father Geb, we ask that you restore the earth in which we walk upon to what they once were. Nutrient, fertile ground, the sands no longer the home of foul creatures and death.

Horus-Re, Lord of the Sun: May your star rise high above this desert each day and watch over the spirits of the land. Raise them beneath your warmth and succor, in your gentle embrace. May your honor and duty to test of time reverse the change that made this land accursed.

Isis, Anhur, Sebek, Geb, Nephthys, Horus-Re, Orisis, Hathar! We beseech your holy hand to reverse the curse upon this place! Lift the toxin from the water, the sands, the life, and love! We beseech a miracle! We beseech you!

South of Nes'ek, Priests and Priestesses from mainland Mulhorand as well as clergy from multiple other faiths gather. Jarl Wardens and other adventurers guard the circle of the faithful as they hold a miracle to the gods. Snakes and foul fire spirits attack, but are held off with the hard work of the guard. After hours of praying for the cleansing of the land, the dust storm fades and sheets of rain wash from the skies. The section of land is clean once more! Much work is still to be done, but a large victory has been won this day.

Looking over the area from atop the cliffs, Aoth watched the proceedings distantly with his typical grim expression. Once the ritual was complete he cast open a portal and departed for destinations unknown.
