As many of you have asked for this before, we want to start a test project on how well or unwell such penalties work out.
You can chose between 4 options of penalties, some rather lax (1 hour no return to Demonreach, but can play elsewhere) to fairly harsh (24 hour no playing the character at all).
The way we set the lore for the island, all the options would have a valid IC reason, so this is not entirely OOC! However, we do not want to scare everyone off right away from the place, so we let you decide what you want.
Please be fair, do not vote multiply with alt-accounts.
As we want to go live with it soon, this poll is open 3 days! Vote, vote vote!

Can I just say I'm really excited for this?

I'd personally go for any options 2-4. A combination of 2 and 3 might be ideal. You're dead for at least an hour unless you get rezzed, and you still can't return to the island for a day. Avoids the whole issue of someone immediately respawning and popping up on Amia like "Yo, they's killin' our dudes over there." Also, treats the island like less of an amusement park, and more of an actual adventurous gambit. The consequences don't just affect Demonreach. Either way, increased death penalties there will definitely give more weight to victories and losses, and that's a good thing.
Curious, would these penalties still respect the "subdue" function on the PvP widget? In case people wanted to spar there, or consciously choose not to kill their opponent.

Dying on Amia is so trivial no one fears it, it should be harsh as hell.

I agree. Lets try something more potent.

Considering that the point of subdue is that you knock the oponent down/out/whatever and do not kill him/her, yes that would be an exception.
