The OOC:Due to the nature of Demonreach, the PVP rules are more lax here. Unlike on the rest of Amia, you do not need a deep reasoning for attacking someone, nor do you need to give them an "out".
What mostly stays in place are the Technical Rules that are not to be exploited:
- You must hostile the person/persons you attack
- You must not abuse transitions in PVP (aka "Transition-Hopping")
- It is forbidden to ask people OOC to come to your location/log on to help you
- Your character may be a scumbag, but you as a player behave like a decent person please. Do not grief anyone and keep following them around just to murder them over and over just because. Try to stay in game. Don't be a sore looser. If all fails, please make screenshots and contact a DM.
You are also allowed to attack NPC.
If you
die on Demonreach, and are not raised on Demonreach (aka you respawn or just log) you are not allowed to return to Demonreach for 24 hrs (counting from the moment you died). You are allowed to be elsewhere on Amia though. This part is not scripted yet, however it is a rule. Please heed it.
The ICDemonreach is a small to medium sized island on the far North of the Korinn Archipelago (Moonshae). As most of these islands, it is "plagued" by pirates, outlaws, weresharks and other lovely folk. The island, as any of the islands in the region, are to be entered at ones own risk. Cut-throats lurk around many corners and there is noone there to uphold any peace or law. If you go there you have to know to take care of yourself, because noone else will and noone will care if you live or die.
Most of the island consists of wilderness. All kinds of beasts and odd creatures dwell in the forest and caves. All those closely tied to nature feel that something appears a little "off" when setting foot on the island. Though it is hard to pinpoint why exactly.
Hangman's CoveThe only thing you could vaguely call a "civilisation" on the island. Most of the people there are either pirates and other kind of outlaws, or the people who work at the few public places it has to offer such as the Busty Barmaid or the Mermaid's Tail. People come and go there and few are seen regularly and noone is missed.
BlightwoodMost of the island is covered by forest. These wilds are inhabited mostly by Vegepygmy, but also by a vast amount of animals. The animals are usually the dire variant, due to the harsh nature of this place. The forest is dark and often foggy, especially at dawn., giving it a rather spooky appearance and feeling.
Rumors
You will find a lot of different rumors around the Hangman's Cove. Afterall, very drunk is an almost everpresent state there. Some speak of a great spirit protecting the island against invaders who try to conquer it. Others go as far as claiming the isle itself is alive. When asked if any of them every witnessed such in person however, none of them did.
