This is a little vague, but i need to start somewhere. Has there been any known 'Abuses' of magic in the forgotten realms, apart from the general consensus that necromancy is an abuse to magic, an affront to nature blabla kelemvor etc.

Was the stuff that happened in Netheril a sort of abuse? I mean, they flipped over mountains and built cities ontop.

Thoughts?
