Post subject:  16 rogue/8 fighter/6 SD VERSUS 16 rogue/4 fighter/10 SD
Hi all!

So I was having a discussion with another player about the difference between these two builds and I was hoping to get some of your opinions. Both go are HiPs based characters with Epic Dodge. Both will have blind fight, improved crits for kurkris, and improved TWF. So they will be hitting crits 12-20 or sneak attacks left and right. Does this fact make taking EWS not worth it and kind of a waste?

Or is it beneficial to have EWS and the extra +6 damage and added AB? In addition to having this, this character would most likely take IKD which can help in tight situations or PvP.

The second character will also have added SD bonuses, such as a slightly better summon, slippery mind, and Improved evasion for free, freeing up some rogue feats down the line.

Let me know what you all think. And if need be I can lay out both builds next to each other, but right now I'm feeling lazy :D

8 fighter version. 16 rogue gets you all the feats you want. defensive roll, imp evasion, crip strike. slippery mind lets you roll something twice, that you likely only have a 5% chance of saving against anyway. the added SD bonuses aren't worth it, unless you're investing 18-20 SD levels, IMO. 10 SD certainly isn't worth in, compared to the benefits fighter offers.

The 8 fighter version, although would consider the 19r/6sd/5f as well, might be the best of both worlds

More fighter gives you more feats and base damage from epic specialization while more shadow dancer gives you a higher dc in shadow daze, which is pretty great if you know who to use it on. It essentially takes fighters out of commission.
