Hello fellow amians... I've had some spare time lately and I have an itch to play here again... but as many of you know I totally suck at building :D
So... what I'd wish to play is a dwarven ranger (duh) with a heavy crossbow, as I think its the most... dwarvish ranged weapon! (except for the throwing axes but... meh)
The primary concept for this will be RPing, as I get bored with PvP... but I'd like it to at least endure some PvE so I can go hunting and not insta die.
I know lvling may be a pain in the ass but... who knows?
So, the things that I want it to have are:
1) dwarf race
2) heavy crossbow user
3) At least some abilities to hide/MS
4) Master scout class for RP and the goodies that it has :)
So help me amian fellows, is this something that can be achieved? Or it would just suck too much?
Thanks for your time, and I hope to see you IG

21 Ranger
5 Master scout
4 Fighter

This is a decent build. Not really sure on the break down of stats would be or if you should go Dex or Str build when using a Heavy Crossbow. Maybe someone more build savoy could pitch in. Good LUCK!

I'd go with something like this here, using a handaxe for when you need to go into melee. Given that you want to go ranged, you'll want to go for high ranger levels so your pet is decent, so 25 ranger levels nets you a blanket-upgrade for nearly everything on your animal companion. You can swap the point distribution around a bit to make it easier for levelling, as long as you have the pre-req stuff for MS at 21 it should be fine either way.

Why go skill focus spot and listen and not point blank shot and rapid shot?

skill focus spot and listen are required to take the MS (harper scout) levels.

Ah I didn't know that.

Edit: Well you can get rapid shot and point black from that new epic loot hood anyways.

Also rapid shot doesn't work with crossbows.
