Not entirely sure where the issue is, unless you archived them all, they should be visible in your account when you log in! |

Nope. Characters self-archive after 60 days (I think it's 60, could be wrong). Anyway, the solution is to roll a new PC and once in game type the following command into the shout channel. f_file show and this will open a dialogue to show your vault (current PCs) or your archive (Archived PCs). Selecting the character you want will then give you the option to rename the characters file (Not the PC itself) and archive/un-archive it. This should work unless you're using a different game spy account name. |

It must not be 60 because I didn't log into any characters or the game for a much longer period than 2 months, and none of my vault was archived upon return. Probably longer, if that is a mechanic at all. |

Well the in-game journal says 60 days anyway. It might be the original 6 months. |

I dont know how it work.. some time i have characters auto archived after a week.. and after my 2.5 year break, non where... But yeah first thing to do is make new character and check if they are in archive |

well I have a bigger issue. I hadn't tried to log in yet I just knew that after 4 years or so they would be in archive. I do recall from way back when that the solution to f_file is the case. However I can't connect to the master server....... THIS IS DISASTROUS! Though I have just noticed that GameSpy isn't installed > is this the reason I can't connect to the server? I'll install it later this evening when I get chance to play regardless of a reply. But that you all very much for your assistance - It's also GREAT to see the forum and mod are still up and running!!!  I'm a little bit excited!!! Peace x |

Just log on, hit multi-player, wait for it to say it can't connect to the master server, then direct connect to the address on the top left of the website here. |

In fact the direct con to IP works fine and will do. As I logged in and all my PC's were there in tact and in order! Awesome! However, I keep getting booted every time I join and cant find the source of the problem... Any tech support suggestions? Much appreciated

A DM will need to verify your CD key in-game. Get in touch with a DM who can log in when you're around and they should be able to do it for you. |

Thanks nerds!  All done and sorted. I remembered what to do last night and made a new PC; lucky, a DM was right on hand and sorted me out. My PC's never archived either which is odd but handy, unless a DM sorted that out before and didn't reply here?? No dramas either way. See ya'll IG
