Post subject:  Recovering Archived Characters
Hi There.

I just managed to get NWN installed on my laptop and have attempted to log in but am unable to find any of my characters. I'm assuming that after all this time they've been archived as it's been many years since I last logged in. The characters I'm looking for are: Metalien Sikth (lvl 30 cleric), Arturus Etuul (unsure of level, but he's a blackguard) Oskar Bloodbeard (level 30 Cleric) Cerestan Darkwood (Level 30 wizard). Many thanks for any assistance. :)

Did you check any of the many similar-titled threads in this section? :P

Make a new character and try the f_file ? shout command. Just follow the self-explanatory options in the dialogue that pops up. If you still don't see any of your characters, come back here and say OMG WTF.

Also make sure you've spelled your login correctly. Had an oldie oops that recently. :lol:

I'll hold on for the EE Amia to go live before I worry too much about recovering Metalien, Oskar, Arturus and Cerestan. I wont move Metalien Junior as he'll be my first new build on the new server.

I tried the f_file ? shout on both my accounts I can recall but cant find Oskar, Metalien, Cerestan or Arturus. Any suggestions?
