I just used a maximized Hammer of the Gods on a bunch of troglodytes, on my Neutral Evil cleric Osiris, and it did 110 damage - 11D10, maximized. I believe, based on the wording of the update, it should do 11d8 to other evil creatures, and only 11d10 to creatures that are Good aligned since I'm evil.
