Not sure if this is in the right place, can't see that it's been mentioned before but i've just noticed that unidentified items say it cost 90gp to identity them at a shop yet when ever i pay to have them identified i loose 95gp... every time! Is this a feature, are the adventurers being chiseled by the local NPC population? lol

I think this has something to do with the mark downs taken into account for race and appraise skill.

This was confirmed that it has to do with the applied discounts to the standard 100gp price of identify.
