I was renaming a weapon in Wiltrun at which time I was ambushed and telprted to where a party member was at. While unexpected and meeting the requirement of being an Ambush, I do not believe that was the intended outcome of being ambushed.

We need more details on this. What do you mean you got ambushed? There's no ambush/spawn points in Wiltun, unless you mean the party member got ambushed and the game moved you to their location? What location were they in? Did they rest and get ambushed or was it a cart-ride ambush?

I'm the one who caused the Ambush, i was traveling the Underdark and got an ambush result when changing zones and pulled him into my area from Wiltun, other then that i can't give you more from my end

Typically it's a BAAAAADDDDD idea to hold parties over vast distances like that. It causes the server to run extra stuff and puts the entire system under a bit more strain when you do that.

As a general rule you should only be in the same party when you are in the same area(s).

As for this particular bug, the way the ambush system works in the UD there is no fix for this. The recommendation is that you break party when traveling that far away, or if its just going to be a minute, have the rest of your party wait.
