I did a search through the forums but couldn't find the answer... I seem to recall reading somewhere you can only have one custom spell per spell level (1 3rd, 1 4th, 1 5th, etc.) but I may just be going crazy(er)...
So other than the amount of DCs a person has to pay for the requests, is there actually any limitations on how many custom spells, of what type/level, etc. that an individual character can have?
Reason behind the question isn't to have a plethora of custom spells, but more "can I afford to do up a few low-level flavor spells, and not screw myself out of some actual powerful spells later on" sort of thing.

You can have two custom spells per level, making that 18, all in all. You can also soon have one custom epic spell on top of that.

Alright, and is that a simple total number limitation or could a person say...
Sacrifice a 9th level to get a 3rd 8th level?
Or (and I doubt this but throwing it out there) sacrifice an 8th level to get a 3rd 9th level?
And thanks for the quick response Sune!
