Today, 10 minutes ago travelling through the orc-caves, killing what I might find, I run past a guy in a pathetic "Ironman-suit". I get too brave, and have to retreat a small bit to gulp a potion. This this guy puts on might and kills me in a few strokes, claiming I was deliberately trying to spawn-kill him.

Is this ok? Did I make a mistake here? I mean, he was AFK in a spawn area, I even tried to write him before passing.

best regards/arne

Running past people who are already in dungeons is considered a no-no, for the record.

But to the topic, was there any RP surrounding this death besides this claim of spawn-killing?

It is a no-no if they are hunting there, not if they stand there afking. Alas you might wanna wait a few min if they didn't just have to emergency run to the washroom.

That said you cannot "claim" a dungeon. Means just because you were there "first" you cannot pull that card all day going circles. The "first" goes for 1 round in that dungeon. If someone goes there in the meantime, it's their turn. Same goes for you cannot "claim" the dungeon and then sit there all day not letting people in because you "were here first" or standing afk there for an hour and expect people not to move past you.

The later as said, prolly should wait a couple of min to check if someone didn't have to run to the washroom or open the door or whatever real quick.

I am not a DM, so this is just my opinion:

He was wrong, first to afk in a dungeon. Anyone who afks in a dungeon should accept that mobs might lynch them there(Mobs spawned by them or others).

You made the effort to try and contact him, didn't work, moved on. It is not your responsibility to care for anyone who chooses to afk in a dungeon. He probably overreacted thinking you were trying to kill him with nearby mobs, but that doesn't change the fact that he broke the PvP rules in PKing you without a legit reason or giving you an out from the situation.
