Started getting back into playing again and like 8 years and I seem to have forgotten how the portal system works (or used to work). I was looking for places to run for XP and I forgot how to get to new places via portals! Any tips or pointers would be much appreciated! Thanks

If you talk to the various "Ley Nodes" you see around the server, you can bind them to points on your portal wand. Portal wands can then be used to teleport to these points. Mythal crystals can be used to upgrade your portal wand to allow more slots and more charges, and can also be used to add charges to the wand. Wands can be set to have a default home portal, one for server A and one for server B - obviously the locations need to actually be on that server. I believe the description of the portal wand also mentions these thing.

Yeah; and just for clarification:

Lesser Mythal - adds 10 charges to wand
Intermediate - 30 charges
Greater - fully charges the wand


I have no idea what minor mythals do, because who seriously uses minor mythals

What? I could have sworn minors offer 10 charges, lessers 20, intermediates 30, and greaters 40.
Minors are good for renaming items...
