Hi Amia-ers - I've done a good bit of searching around both here and in general and I can't seem to find a fix for this - if I recall, last time I played (well over a year ago) I had to do something specific to be able to join internet games (or even see the list).

Anyway, I patched to 1.69 (and tried revert to 1.68 as well) but when I click to join internet game, it crashes back out to my desktop every time, slightly frustrating to say the least. My apologies if I missed any fixes, but if anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Any other peculiarities? Like some loading time, or maybe *click then out in less than 1 sec*, or a display message, etc.

No real wait or load, and no error messages, only Windows asking to report the error

Try running the game from nwnmain.exe in the C:\Neverwinternights\NWN folder.

Set compatibility mode to run as admin and windows xp sp2.

Hmm, try doing direct connect then let us know if the same thing happens.

How do I do compatibility mode? Or direct connect? Is there a console (I forget)?

I can't get to the normal DC screen because as far as I can tell it comes after you hit "join internet game"

Try to join a Lan game. then use this IP:

64.25.87.18:5121

Ticket's advice is if your using Vista.

Right click on the nwnmain.exe then select Properties.
Go to the compatibility tab and select the options there.

If you're using vista of course.
