I searched forums to see if I could find an easy fix for this and couldn't find it, so I either boofed the search or it's kinda hidden, but:
I made/activated subrace fine on a drow (obviously, base race elf, keyword "drow")... worked fine first time I played her... logged on her again tonight, and when I tried to go through the door, it told me to go talk to the mirror again (which is a parrot on B, not a mirror, but I digress). I did so, and it said my subrace was already activated, but I wouldn't have the abilities applied because I had an incorrect base race. So I'm posting here about it.
Did I do something goofy?

you don't need to activate seperately on B. you just need to talk to the mirror (entry portal) twice. don't mind the parrot.

You didn't but it sounds like something somewhere did.
Is the race read as "drow" or "Drow" on the character sheet?

Plus you can see if the abilities are aplled by checking your SR.

I did use the lower-case 'd.' It must've just been a little glitch b/c like you said, I tried the entry placeable 2x and got in fine and didn't notice anything wonky.
Thanks for the help!

lower case works fine, but it usually gets turned to uppercase after you initialize it.

Oh, per the subrace info on the forum, I thought I was SUPPOSED to use lower case. If not, we probably need to fix that. *points to side menu*

Are you sure you aren't mistaking the subrace activator for the entry?

...no, not sure since I am a goober. I did confuse it at first. But the entry was the one that gave me the problem convo... then I clicked on the parrot, then I went back to the entry and clicked twice on it and got in. Still had the message, but it wasn't accurate, it seemed to play fine.
