While trying to log on to both A and B servers, I got this message;

Could not connect to Master Server, some multiplayer services may not be available.

I'm using direct connect to Amia.
The message pops up at the first stage attempting to connect
The message is given in a standard NWN text box format
After the OK is clicked, it takes a few noticeable long moments to verify name, then does so.
After that, it logs on in.

Anyone got a clue about this?

You mentioned everything except the content of the message.
Is this a trick question? :lol:

It means the master server is down.

As long as you're using direct connect, it shouldn't mess with anything.... I think.

So far it hasn't been and the message stopped showing up, too.
My main worry was more that there was something wrong on my machine or, worse, there was some kind of hacking going on.
But Torm recognized the message right away so that put my fears to rest :)

Well, when the MS is down there can be some hacking going on... but we got a stopper for that. The CD key check that annoys everyone who gets a new CD key.

I get that same message all the time.
Usually, I just keep trying until it let's me in, sometimes two or three tries.
