@ Nav;

You can take Dragon Shape assuming Epic Shifter and 30 Wisdom, which gives you access to the full-size Dragon Forms. Three of them, in fact. By default it's Red, Green, Blue; though I think Good Guys now have a trio from the Metallics. I think.

Not atm, no.

OK. I couldn't remember if that was in the works or not for certain.

Just because you know dragon's exist, or that their even in the area, doesn't make you an expert on them. It shouldn't give your character the right to glance at them and say, oh thats just a shifter.

Or people could just pvp the dragon on sight, in hopes that it drops some loot. But we can't.
Why? Because we are forced to metagame shifters by the pvp rules.
We must acknowledge OOCly that these are shifter PCs and cannot treat them as the monsters that they are.

I like this... it makes the most sense. If Shifters are hard to spot then people shouldn't know there are 'heaps' of them on Amia. I mean I've attacked Shifted PCs before because they were, as I saw IC, a giant monster only to be told I was a crap RPer for not assuming they were a Shifter.

So, if my PC sees a Monster that I OOC know is a Shifter can I then attack it because it is a Monster IC? Personally I think this should be ammended in the PvP rules. And, yes, I'd like to apply the same thing to monster PCs and traditionally opositional races. Hell, my Hobgoblin PC has been PvPed way more then any other PC I've had and he's only level 10... but GOOD... he's a Hobgoblin, it makes sense to shoot first so to speak.

This Shifter argument could be applied to kobolds and goblins as well... you shouldn't assume that they are all evil, people will call you a facist. What have goblins and kobolds done to deserve this legacy of hate!?!

Shifters are so common, I'm happier just to ignore the doom-bug skittering about than to go through the monotony of "Oh what a surprise you're actually a person!" every single time. It's not good RP, but it's a game and I play games to have fun -not to bash my head against a wall because of how thoroughly annoying it is to have to react the same way to every shifter that walks past as a baddy.

I guess in a much shorter verse I should say I'm all for the wanton blasting of any shifter with a monster appearance.
