I'm sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I'm not sure how the XP is for unlocking doors anymore, but have you tried using that as a means to get you some XP? Few years ago Elda (old player) used that to supplement her leveling. I really like the idea of making the Hunter jobs give good XP, not that i know what they give now.

No jobs have ever given good exp. I'm pretty sure Hunter, Big Game Hunter, whatever, all give the same exp as every other job on successful completion.

Hunting jobs do give double xp (so 50 per rank). Not that that's even remotely worth trekking into the often insane locations you're assigned.

Yeah, whenever I'm out with others, I unlock all the doors, and disable all the traps I can, for that extra bit of experience As we speak, I may be getting into a party in the game, so it seems I should go all-out on the weekends to find parties, then hope I get myself high enough to find parties during the week days.

Remember, too, that there is no longer a limit on party range so you can be buddies with a high level and still go out hunting. Granted, diminishing XP gains depending on where you go but it's better than soloing at least

If you ask around IC for a good place to hone or practice ones lockpicking skills, someone might be able to aim you at an area with a handful of easy spawns, and about 50 locked doors all in one area. This kind of makes me wish my main was more socially inclined. Seems like a good opportunity to start a guild. One that noobies and vets alike could find value in, for the newbies though it would give them someone they know they can consult upon where next to adventure, perhaps have access to a guild mage they can pay for extended buffs. Oh, that reminds me, if you have any blank scrolls, you might consider asking for a scribe (Arcane or divine) to set you up with a Summon 9, or Greater Planar Binding buddy. Waaaaay back in the day, there used to be a semi easy scroll shop you could buy them from, which was funny because you could stock up on them, then request a self rebuild, running around with a lvl 20 summon at lvl 3? Good times.
