Unless you have the Armorsmith job. And then you have to read the instructions provided by the armorer's anvil very carefully to make sure you do it right, or the wrong thing will disappear forever.

Is there some way to copy armor appearance from one armor to another? Or do I have to write down numbers of parts and make it all manually?
Sadly no. However there is some initiative to institute tailoring NPCs that you see on other servers, the sort that just stand there and have a conversation menu that lets you craft what it is wearing. But it's held up by other stuff being more important.
So, hopefully sometime soon!

Can I ask what the deal with Khem is? I have a concept that relies on it as part of their background but last I heard it's in the firing line to be purged.

The lore is that Khem is no longer a viable place to live, because the ash and sulfur from an erupted volcano snuffed out most life and permanently poisoned the water and soil. This happened during a large scale war with Set and the yugoloth minions he called from Gehenna. All of Mulhorand was involved. From my understanding, the NPCs will eventually be forced to find livelihood elsewhere and the areas will be removed once the dungeons and hunting areas are given a cosmetic refresh and placed elsewhere.

Wait, what? That's the great calamity that ruined Khem? That doesn't make any sense! Volcanic gases aren't something you want to breathe, and the ash might play merry hell with your lungs while it's in the air, but there's absolutely no reason they'd poison the water and soil.
For pity's sake, sulphur is used as fertilizer!

Even if it did... *Casts noot poison on watering hole.*
That was definitely the first thing my druid and about a million other spellcasters tried, trust me. It was handwaved off as the volcano being the vehicle for the fury of a Demigod of Death. IE, everything the ash touches is doomed to wither. Maaaagic.
There are plans for Khem. Its purge is no longer on the table. I don't want to talk time tables or content or lore, but we're not removing what's left, either.

Ah, I forgot how I was told that Khem was getting removed. Good to know we're not losing a great location!
a) Can a caster tell if his target have a Spell Resistance?
Let's say caster will cast Wail of the Banshee, can a caster say if it failed because of : Immunity, succesfull fort roll, SR, or anything else, like being undead? And if it fails thanks to Immunity, can caster still say the target have SR but the spell penetrated it?
b) How does the slavery rule works?
Quote:
Can not level past CL 2. Can not own weapons, magic items or armor (Mundane AC0 cloth is acceptable).
What about combat-slaves? Something like bodyguard of drow priestess, or something like that? It wont work with CL 2 and without equipment.
c) Are the DMs worldwide, or are there any "Underdark" DMs?
B) Slave PCs have to be requested by the player of the slave and vouched for by the slaver that will be labelled the owner, if they're made for that specific person/persons.
C) Dustspray101 is the local UD DM as well as a few others sometimes pitch in to help.

Actually there is a way how to do that. You just need to hit Armorsmith anvil. (At least it works with weapons on weaponsmith anvil) and it will give you the option to copy appearence from A to B ... But be carefull! Follow the instruction, because "old" item will be destroyed during process, so you have to put them in the right order to make it work.

It's a bit iffy, honestly you're better off paying the bit of gold to craft it yourself than you are getting an armour smith to transfer the item. Because if you get it wrong, you could lose the armour entirely.

1st Question: Does the shifter AC progression dodge AC part count towards the 20 dodge cap? Are there other dodge AC bonuses besides the aforementioned that shapes have that aren't visible?
2nd Question: About reskins. Let's say I have a shifter form with a sword and I want it reskinned, but the skin in the hak I fancy has a hammer? Can the hammer be switched to a sword, so I might use said skin?
Hello, I have just used Greater mythal on Minor portal wand.
What it did was add 17 charges (from 2 -> 19). and did not changed 'tier' of the wand, it is still minor.
Question is what have I done wrong, or what have been changed (Do I have to use interemediate before greater, does greater add 17 charges now), because if I remember correctly, this was working (from minor -> greater and 40 charges).

Sounds like a bug to me. Recommend you flag down a DM to help you out, and see if you can recreate the problem by them giving you another Great Mythal to try it with, just to rule out if it's a recurring problem or just a one-off.
Did you stand near a mythal forge and select upgrade?

If you are not next to a mythal forge, you won't get the option. It's a second option that shows up asking if you want to upgrade it. Otherwise, you're picking the one that just adds charges.

You need to Edit Faction (Should be a button there somewhere) and adjust the bars so the faction you chose for each individual creature is hostile to the faction of the opposite creature.
... Once you see it you'll understand, sorry if this is a bit confusing to read.

I am a bit confused on the existence of Sebek. I was told by another character that he used to have a shrine, but it was destroyed during the Anubis plot. He is also missing from the Amian gods list, but is part of FR lore. Was he cast down as a god during that plot?

Sebek was never on the Amia gods list, even when he had a shrine. So I guess it's status quo, except now he doesn't even have a shrine.
Are there any DMs assigned to Khem, or that have special knowledge of Khemite lore that'd be willing to work towards something with my Mulhorandi dude?

From what I'm aware of, the Tarkuul group has alot of euros, too.
While that's true, a lot if then also operate on a weird school/work schedules that can be difficult to keep up with. I know dead and silkelock didn't overlap with me much even when I would nosleep into their timezones as a result.
Post your play times in this thread and hopefully you can use it to look for the people there still playing.

I read somewhere that the different coloured journal entries indicate the intended level range? Trouble is I can't think where I had seen it or find it now! Any one know about this?

It's in Varia subforum I think. Under where the Rules and Lore, iirc.

A technical question: Is it possible to make a race npc (Human, Dwarf etc) a reskin but also keeping the skin colour they're set with? Keep in mind I'm aware they'll be a nude model (and no it's not for a dirty reason).

You know, I'm not sure. They'll either retain the changed Skin/Hair/Tattoo1,2 or it'll always be the default 1,1,1,1. That's not something I played with, but it should be easy enough to test out if a DM can be lassoed for it.

Hi. I just started playing a wood elf ranger but I'm realizing elvs in the forgotten realms are quite a bit different from elvs I've played in other pnp games. So if anyone can give me some advice on were to look for information about elven culture and and the nature of there lives and societies that would be really helpful. And maybe some more detailed info on there religion. Anything from websites to sourcebooks are of interest.
