Thanks.

I forgot when you get a bonus AB and universal saving throws in epic. Is it saves at uneven and AB at even epic levels, or?

Just to make sure. Throwing axes get automatic mighty, depending on your str modifier, right? I saw a few axes with mighty on them, so I got confused. No need to have mighty on the throwing axes, right?

And.. Tormak said physical damage on a projectile (arrow/bolt) is changed into the damage type of the weapon, arrows with blunt damage becomes piercing in reality. But what about thrown weapons? If a dart or throwing axe has blunt damage to them, it stays that way?

Ostland; Where's the other coast?

Am I missing something or is it just half an island?

It is pending completion. The person that was doing Ostland went on hiatus and since there's been other things that take precedence.

Physical damage on all weapons is changed to the base damage type of the weapon, so it will become slashing on throwing axes.

From the wiki. Looks ike a misunderstanding on the part of the item's creator.

Sounds like whenever the server is going down it's resetting your character back to a point where they were flagged as portalling via ship. Though this only happens on crashes, never heard of it doing so on resets so I might be wrong.

So my assassin is a scythe and kukri wielder. Now, there aren't many nice scythes around so I was hoping that the scythe I found available for purchase in Shadowscape is something that I would be able to use soon. Unfortunately, it is only limited to Evil, Blackguard and SD only (there might be more but I'm not sure). I was hoping that my NE alignment would be enough but apparently that wasn't the case. Any chance we can add Assassin to the allowed classes?

Do you have use magick device?

If so, with enough ranks you can use it even with those requirements

http://nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Use_magic_device

it is based off the value of an item, and how much you're emulating with the skill

As far as I know a skill rating of 30 is all you will need on Amia, and that is if you want to use everything that needs it

How is it with experiences i got for next level? If i have 10k exp over lvl 28, will i get them back, or will i be just set to fresh 28 lvl?

Was the duration of Greater Sanctuary recently changed?

It's lasting only just over a minute (1:24 give or take) whereas it should last somewhere between 15-20 minutes.

Not recently. It was changed a few years ago already

Greater Sanctuary (BoT)
While under Greater Sanctuary, the caster receives 100% spell failure, CL*5 Temporary Hit Points and 90% Movement Speed Increase. The duration has been changed to 10 Rounds + CL/6 Rounds.

Do Paladins on Amia have restricted multi-classing capabilities?

I know in some instances of D&D Paladins of certain gods can only multi-class certain ways, I was wondering if this is enforced in Amia.

(I've thought of a new direction for my character but don't know if it is feasible)
(Send me a quick PM if you need to know the god/order, and what I want to multi-class as, if it matters)

There is a general entry on this on the wiki:
http://amiawiki.shatuga.com/index.php?title=Paladin_Orders_by_Deity

It does not list the source but could be a starting point.

Followup question would be is my Paladin of the applicable god on there automatically part of that order then? (I assume yes but I'm curious)

Personally, I RP mine as a magical quiver that just makes endless arrows rather than a clunky arrow-duplicating blob, but I imagine whatever gets the job done is fine!

I rp mine as having the supplies for more arrows which somehow duplicates the properties of existing magical ones.

I rarely use mine openly or at least i don't draw attention to using it. Then when i hunt i try not to resort to having to use them at all and usually remark about how expensive my arrows are to replace as i work my way through them. Supply of extra arrows just not in your quiver sounds like a good thing, i mean if you have something that magically makes, replaces or transports more arrows to you... that is some seriously powerful magic item to be easily available and readily usable! lol

I roleplay mine openly. It's a magic ammo bag! You put arrows in, and it duplicates them.

Generally that would be the case, yeah. Paladins have a strict code that they adhere to that is generally put forward by the particular order of their deity.

No. They can multiclass like anyone else. Of course, Paladins are expected to live up to their code, and some builds might not make sense. (What would Fury the independent-pony-god think of paladins with ranks in Ride? "Uhh ... part of my back story!" - "*booming voice* Max ranks?" )

No. There can be many orders for each deity. The ones you find in sources do exist, but are merely examples. But your order or an Amia-local order can have whatever rules they want that suits their deity (and even that can be stretched by following some aspect of the deity, or whatever they are called).

I didn't find the original post about spell widgets, so I'll ask here:
Can you use spell widgets to add for instance bulls strength to a ranger?

You can, yes. They are not added to your spellbook but rather as spell like abilities and therefore cannot be metamagicked.

As far as I'm aware, yah. In Amian lore the Spellplague, its results, and all of the other 4th ed guff never happened. Assuming we're not thinking of different occasions in which Cyric was killed/imprisoned!

Where is the answer to this question?

http://i.imgur.com/uETD3az.png

The book you're given doesn't mention anything like this at all and the library in 3 steps doesn't have anything intractable.

Plus you only get one guess per reset.

Isn't there a one in four chance at this question?
So maybe it takes more than eight hours to figure out the answer, if you guess wrong.
Perhaps a subtle question to an instructor would also enlighten you.

pun intended :P

Yeah.

Question is, will it take me less time to wait for 3 more resets to try the other choices, OR will I be able to track down a player who actually knows the answer within the next 24 hours?

I'm betting on the former.

Some other big surface merchant goes there. Some people post notices there ... So, if you can make it work to get there and not get kicked from the cage lifts (not sure if that's still a thing), you totally can.

How welcome you would be ... Well, there's already a huge number of races there that don't like each other. So ...

I used to have this tool, that started NWN for me and connected directly on the server I played on. It was making one big log of my every time connecting to the game and what I did.

Is there some version for Amia? I have no idea how to use this here, since there is A and B.

If I'm not mistaken (!!!), the flight widget does not cost any DC; you earn it by participating in long-term roleplay in which your character learns to fly with wings (acquired in either a separate DC request, or from the RDD class). Log this roleplay, and give it to a DM; if they're satisfied, then you get the widget.

Again, I could be wrong; I've never gone through the process of aquiring a widget, this' just what I remember hearing about the requirements.

According to this they are limited in the manner they can do so. Which I think is our approved lore on the matter, currently.

How does the 1st level Cleric spell Bane work on Amia?
Spell level: cleric 1

Innate level: 1
School: enchantment
Descriptor: mind-affecting
Components: verbal, somatic
Range: long (40 meters)
Area of effect: colossal (10 meter radius)
Duration: 1 turn / level
Save: will negates
Spell resistance: yes
Additional counterspells: bless

Description: Bane fills the caster's enemies with fear and doubt. They suffer a -1 penalty on their attack rolls and a -1 penalty on saving throws against fear.

There's no note in Spells side bar about it being changed. Is it an aura or something with turns/level duration as the standard spell describes? For some reason I thought I read it was changed to a pulse or something, but can't find that.

If that is what the goblin priests use, a lot of, then it does seem to be a one off pulse.
