A nudge to the topic to bring it to the top of the forum so everyone can see it and it doesn't get lost, presuming I don't mistake your meaning.

Of course since the new forums took, you can bookmark topics so you never lose track of them ever again. But yes, 'tis useful for new people to see Important Information on the first page.

vs damage however is not.
So if you have a weapon with 1d6 versus Svensk you can mythal 1d6 flame damage to it without overriding it.

Good catch, Mosh. True, Vs damage is not.
That's why Paladins can have both Bless weapon and flame weapon damage on a Blade, Without overriding.

No, it is wrong info. Mythals have nothing to do with why Bless Weapon and Flame Weapon work smultaneously. They work simultaneously because 1: they have been coded to not overwrite each other, 2: because they're different elements, and 3: Because they're different types of damage bonuses, one being normal and one being vs undead. 2d6 divine and 2d6 divine cs undead wouldn't stack to 4d6 vs undead, but 2d6 fire and 2d6 divine vs undead will stack.

The similarity between the mythal system and the weapon buff scripts exists because they use the item property functions, so inevitably they do similar things in code and to your items. Though, only because they were written that way as Tormak said.
The stock Bioware scripts for Flame Weapon or Darkfire add an OnHit property which fires after the weapon has hit something, and therefore it would stack with any kind of elemental (or physical) damage. Plus of course, it was really laggy because of the script running every time something got hit with it.

Btw - Recent update claims that two handers now can hold 5 powers. I think so at least, many of the updates got lost in the Gnab Gib

The list is covering mythal power costs mainly. The detailed powers can be found on the current Mythal Crafting System, so I didn't include that, but linked it. Think it fits this thread. Item Capacity5 powers: Two-handed weapons. 4 powers: One-handed weapons, bows, crossbows, armor (chest) and bracers. 3 powers: Every other equippable item. 2 powers: Ammunition. Mythal PowersWith mythals you can create and customize magical items in game. The following list shows how many powers the enchantments use. For a detailed list of the enchantments, click here. Minor Mythal1 Power: All. Lesser Mythal1 Power: All. Intermediate Mythal1 Power: Most. Exception2 Powers: Regeneration (+1). N.B. Weapon damage is 1d6 on one-handed and two-handed weapons. Greater Mythal1 Power: Most. Exception2 Powers: Universal save bonus (+2) and ability bonus (+2). N.B. Weapon damage is 1d6 on one-handed weapons, and 2d4 on two-handed weapons.Flawless Mythal1 Power: Most. Exception4 Powers: Enchantment bonus (+5). 3 Powers: Ability bonus (+3). 2 Powers: Armor bonus (+5). Perfect Mythal1 Power: All. Divine Mythal1 Power: All. N.B. Visual effect has no power cost.Armor Class EnchantmentsAll armor class bonuses: +1 to +4 are one power; +5 is two powers. See the Mythal Crafting System thread for details.

I think I shall spend some time this weekend and add new permutations!
...
I apparently have not become any less insane.

Several Ability Bonus permutations have been added to the list as well as some permutations specifically for two-handed weapons (these are the ones in orange text). Yes, there are still many more permutations to go. However, this is a good step forward!

If you feel like you're up for it, there is no information on power costs of existing item properties, those that cannot be mythaled but can be found on items. Many people want to tailor items they buy or find to their needs, and such a guide would be a great help.
For example, +3 fortitude saving throw is one power whether you mythal it or have an existing item with such bonus.
+4 fortitude save on an existing item is 2 powers though, as i found out recently.
That sort of thing.

I just posted power costs in this thread, reviving it.. scroll up and see. I might as well make a new thread for it, since it gets overlooked.

Many people want to tailor items they buy or find to their needs, and such a guide would be a great help. That would pretty much require me to put up nearly twice to three times the number of permutations that are already up there. It's a good idea, but introducing something like saving throws bonuses would totally bog the thing down, and it's already an enormous undertaking. The goal was to create a list of powers that could be added to equipment using mythals (except on-hit powers, since there's a great deal of them and they all have differing values). If I tried to add the equip level for every permutation possible for weapons on this server the list would be enormous.

No, i'm not asking you to extend your chart of possible permutations, merely to list which property takes how many power slots on an item. Ulir wrote: I just posted power costs in this thread, reviving it.. scroll up and see. I might as well make a new thread for it, since it gets overlooked. You didn't tell us anything new that couldn't be found out from the current MCS article and Update threads. Like i said, "existing properties" on items, like the example i gave, +4 fortitude takes up two power slots.
