My personal recommendation, don't touch anything that isn't gained from an epic feat. Butv the fast summon is pretty much the only reason to take SD levels. Making it more unique and possibly powerful would give shadowdancers a reason for taking epic levels. I think a debuff pulse would be cool personally, one that self stacks.

Make shadow evade last minutes a level if you're "epic" shadow dancer.

Couldn't it be changed not to stack? As in remove the previous casting, not changing the type of AC bonus.

I certainly can take a look at the SD summons. I don't know if I want to buff it though since Shadow Dancers aren't really about being a summoner, but ill check out its stats anyway and think it over.

The problem was that the Epic Shade Lord is completely worthless in PvP.

You're still a Shadowdancer though, with the Break Action Queue On Demand button.

A Shadowdancer with no offense besides scrolls. Your statement doesn't really go far. The investment in a high level SD is mainly for the Epic Shade Lord and the extra defense- which should translate to more offense and more defense (you know- a well-rounded reward for the investment). The class needs changes if the Epic Shade Lord does not- because my maxed out epic SD sucks for as much as he should be cool. Oh- and how many players at any given chunk of time play a character with more than 6 or 10 levels of SD? Slim to none. Why is that?

Isnt it that any summon in PvP is basically useless? In PvP you go after caster. And honestly... going 20 SD with epic shadowlord seems like interesting build choice - having very good tank and yourself to deal damage. :)

If you've dedicated a lot of levels into a prestige class (Shadowdancer, Palemaster, Blackguard, e.t.c) then the Summon in PvP is worth it. Considering you're facing multiple threats. A ShadowDancer's summon can drop a character really fast with its on-hit death attacks. As does the Palemaster's powerful Winterwight and a Blackguards summon.

EDIT:

Quote:
Creature Armor
• CL 14 : +1 AC, +1 Saves
• CL 15 : +1 AC, +1 Saves, 10% Slashing/Bludgeoning Immunity
• CL 16 : +2 AC +2 Saves, 10% Slashing/Bludgeoning Immunity
• CL 17 : +2 AC +2 Saves, 20% Slashing/Bludgeoning Immunity
• CL 18 : +3 AC +3 Saves, 20% Slashing/Bludgeoning Immunity
• CL 19 : +3 AC +3 Saves, 30% Slashing/Bludgeoning Immunity
• CL 20 : +6 AC +6 Saves, 50% Slashing/Bludgeoning Immunity

Creature Claw
• CL 13 : Drain 1d4 Con: DC 36
• CL 14 : Drain 1d4 Con: DC 36
• CL 15 : Drain 1d4 Con: DC 38
• CL 16 : Drain 1d6 Con: DC 38
• CL 17 : Drain 1d6 Con: DC 40
• CL 18 : Drain 1d6 Con: DC 40
• CL 19 : Drain 1d2 Str, Drain 1d6 Con: DC 40
• CL 20 : Drain 1d2 Str, Drain 1d8 Con: DC 42

I believe if you hit 0 STR you auto die. Could be wrong. But either way, multiple on-hits from the Claws at 20 CL = to weak to hit the caster. Eventually death.
