Is there any way to rearrange the order of spells in a wizards spell book or are they set in place when you learn them? it would be nice if there was some way to organize them for each level, would make switching spells easier, well for me anyways |

do a total rebuild but before you do that make a scroll of every spell then as you relevel learn the spells in ABC order.... |

They're set at selection, yup. Unfortunately the only way to rearrange them is to redo the levels at which they are gained. I know that when I rebuilt my wizard and took things in a different order, it slowed down my spell selecting quite a bit until I got used to their new positions. If you ever do want to rebuild, by the way, I recommend figuring out which stores carry what spells and try to select ones that aren't readily available on level-up. This will, however, conflict with a tight organisation method. |

hurgh, if you make me sit and rebuild and redo levels over and over and over and over so you can organize your spells... No offense, I mean... |

Spellsknown data is saved... ClassList/[X]/SpellsKnown/[Y]/ X = the class possition Y = Spell level In the bicfile entries. |

If we bribe with enough DCs? And surely it would make you appreciate the ones that didn't want it all the more :P That said, could we get a DM to do this? |

The only logical way to deal with the issue of spell order is to have Disco or Terra write a LETOscript that automatically organizes all spells alphabetically. I most humbly put that forth as a suggestion for consideration by all the wizards on the server. |

Please god no. Their efforts are best focused elsewhere. With practice, you'll learn where your spells are instinctively and it won't be a problem. |

Sounds like a major Letoscript, you might endup losing all your spells. That'd be fun, right? But no... just live with the order or play a sorc. |

Fighters are boring. If I have less than three dozen slightly different abilities at my fingertips I'm not having fun. |

Would this mean that a PC would be booted from the server each time he/she takes a wizard level? If so, I am in favor of this. It would help logging in during rush hours. |

Isn't it advised that one searches a topic and continues it rather than make a second, third, fourth topic on the same subject? That's the impression I was given, I feel that your post was rather unwarranted Murex. Regards Monkey Business |

I can cut the slack. I'm not trying to be an asshole or anything. I would suggest new players to ask a lot of questions in the General Questions thread- it helps people not have to read entire discussions and that sort of thing. If you want to necropost as a new player, we will look the other way. It's not a big deal anyways. FYI: New changes are pretty much implemented in order of importance here, and there is a long list of things that are being chipped away at. |

Aye murex, that gif was a bit unecessary Necroposting is by far better then creating new topics, debating the same thing over again. |

Being able to swap between spell sets would save so much time. How does it react when there's fewer slots than spells though (for example you took off a spell slot item between storing and reloading the spell set)? |

It restores it as its saved. If you got less slots those slots are ignored, if you got more those slots are emptied. You cannot share the book with others and it breaks if you rebuild. |
