Monks. Most decent Monk replayers are under-epic, just seems like no one roleplays being a Monk beyond the point of glowy eyes and martial arts skills. |

RDDs (the race not the class), Tieflings and Surface Drow who aren't eilistraeens. Classes don't bother me, just that there are some classes roleplayed in a "look at me" kind of fashion (e.g., Drow not roleplayed as an evil race but for the cool dark look. RDDs for the hentai factor. Tiefling players also tend to fall into the attention seeking crowd). Usually, the classes chosen go with the style of RP to fit the "look at me" thing. SDs constantly popping up in your face, Shifters changing form to something ugly to get a reaction, etc. But, having said that, a well RP'ed class and/or race of any of the above wins my admiration. It usually comes down to the type of player rather than their toon. |

What do you mean? I voted RDD....but I have no idea what you mean by that really. I think it is very hard to roleplay the majesty and strength of something with dragon blood whilst also being 'human' enough to appeal to most players, so they end up becoming a little bit lame. That is my view on it. |

It's not so much the class as what it's used for and combined with. There are builds which just scream Borderline Griefer. I see the melee RDDs and PMs, Shadowdancers, the Dragonmonks and the Sorc/Divine-saves/Monkand predict that the 'RP' I see will sound like a teenage surf bum with a broken Shift key and revolve exclusively around why their honour has been slighted by some harmlessly barbed comment and only death will satisfy it. That assumes the PvP-beefiness has kicked in. Before Deathless Mastery, Devcrit, HiPS, Dragonshape or the swap to PvP spellbook, what RP they have on the rush to 30 is that of a shy little mouse. With a few exceptions, they're also all specialists on solo PvP; there's not much there to help buddies out in group PvM or PvP. It says something about a person that they'll put up with being a leech for 27 levels so that they can be the big PvP bully or last man standing faction hero. The latter conveniently ignores the fact they'd not be the last one standing if they'd been any bloody use to their pals. To that end, I no longer help make Shadowdancers, and I've never helped melee PMs, RDDs or Dragonmonks. Pretty shy about Sorcerors, too. Kjetta wrote: I resent that notion. Gopt nop problems with base and prestige classes, i got problems with certain combos. If I have to choose one, I think Sorcerer 29/ Paladin 1 is on the top of my "hate" list. With an unbalanced druid/monk coming second. Dualclass or true multiclass I dont mind, but when just one level is thrown in for an immense boost.. meh. Generally, cheesy comboes without regard for roleplay is what I would look on as 'hated classes' |

Probably Shifters, seeing as the only ones that I've seen that make it past the initial levels are those boosted by the monk levels, which they totally disregard and don't roleplay. Monk roleplay is understated or non-existent in several class combos, abused for their Wis AC. Thus while I love the class and concept, I hate many permutations of it. |

ahhh, got it. I dont really understand the SD hate either. I mean, everyone uses their best trick, every time. Every class has something they are good at, and whoever is playing it, uses it. We should just try and keep the game balanced, and let everyone go at it from there. Something which I think the team is doing a good job of. Most importantly by ignoring 99.99% of suggestions on the forums. That being said, I hate all classes, and whoever I am encountering at the moment, i hate you the most. |

I would imagine that the significant factor is the voter having been being whupped by an example of the class in an annoying way. When I can remember the last time anything on that list killed one of my characters and it wasn't my fault, I might vote. |
