Post subject:  A question about Djedet

Since I didn't know which DM was in charge of the city, I thought I would post this question here:

How long has the Ne'sek-Djedet caravan route existed? Has it always been there (i.e. we just suspense-of-disbeliefed it into existence, much like that book store in Discworld), or was it recently established?
If it was recently established, why was it?

If the relevant DM could post I would be much obliged as I had other questions, but I believe the one above is most pertinent to the greatest number of people (well, of the probably few that have any interest).

I don't think it existed previously, but i never really travelled through Nes'ek as often as i should have.

My guess is that it is a recently established route, as the Undead pretty much destroyed Nes'ek, and all establishments within it (to my knowledge); so after all undead were cleared, it was established for a nice little trade route... Assumedly to that-city-on-the-island-on-whose-name-has-slipped-my-mind. *sagenod*

But i'm not a DM... *Hides*

Djedet has existed out there for a long time. The Nes'ek-Djedet caravan line, however, is relatively new thanks to...

...a certain NPC group in the server. 10 points to anyone who knows who. The answer is lying out there in the desert. It was intentionally put in, I think you've just failed at exploration.

The story is basically that the Ne'Sek people grew lazy and decadent. They felt no need to explore outside there own little colony, probably because they had no clue where they actually were.

Well, and then a lot of undead people came, who raped their cattle and ate their women, and then they needed to make the long journey over the hills and far away!

And there was much rejoicing.
