How many levels do you need for Winter Wight? This is confusing me..

Palemaster: Summon Greater Undead Spell-like Ability [Duration: 1 Hour / CL]
• 1st – 8thCL: Mohrg
• 9th – 14th CL: Wraith
• 15th – 19th CL: Dread Wraith
• 20th – 23rd CL: Wight
• 24th – 27th CL: Mummy
• 28th – 31st CL: Greater Mummy
• 32nd – 33rd CL: Winterwight (A very powerful summon with evil blight claws)
The Palemaster gains a bonus +3 to CL when using her spell-like ability.
The summoned undead gains +6 to Turn Resistance.

Yet even on a level 40 server you can only get 30 levels. Even here, there's no way you can get 32 levels. You can get 29 levels, but does that mean drow do not get Winterwight? or does their ECL kick in towards the CL for Winterwight?

I think caster level = wizard + palemaster levels, so with the bonuses you get to CL with the summon, you would need a total of 29 levels combined of wizard and palemaster.

Do correct me anyone if Im wrong

Wizard & Sorcerer levels count, btw

IE. A Wizard 10 / Pale Master 20 using Create Greater Undead by their class feature would actually have a 33 CL ( 10 Wizard + 20 Pale Master + 3 for using the spell-like ability) Tada! Winterwight.

Drow can't get it though, since they have ECL +2.

You'll need 29 caster levels (see: wiz/sorc + PM, Bard DOES NOT count) for Winterwight. Ergo, Drow are SOL.
