Hi Amia-ers - I've done a good bit of searching around both here and in general and I can't seem to find a fix for this - if I recall, last time I played (well over a year ago) I had to do something specific to be able to join internet games (or even see the list). Anyway, I patched to 1.69 (and tried revert to 1.68 as well) but when I click to join internet game, it crashes back out to my desktop every time, slightly frustrating to say the least. My apologies if I missed any fixes, but if anyone has any advice, I'd greatly appreciate it. |

Any other peculiarities? Like some loading time, or maybe *click then out in less than 1 sec*, or a display message, etc. |

No real wait or load, and no error messages, only Windows asking to report the error |

Try running the game from nwnmain.exe in the C:\Neverwinternights\NWN folder. Set compatibility mode to run as admin and windows xp sp2. Hope it works.. |

Hmm, try doing direct connect then let us know if the same thing happens. |

How do I do compatibility mode? Or direct connect? Is there a console (I forget)? I can't get to the normal DC screen because as far as I can tell it comes after you hit "join internet game" |

Right click on the nwnmain.exe then select Properties. Go to the compatibility tab and select the options there. If you're using vista of course. |
