So, I'm been jokingly thinking of setting up a sorceress sorority of some sort. Basically set up so that any sorcerer can join, so long as she can produce arcane magic spontaneously, and meets the cheerleader standards.

Can we handle the joke?

"Cheerleader's standards"?

That basically means only Uce's lady characters can't join? He's the only one I know that makes female PC's that are not extremely attractive.

Dwarf female's generally aren't made that way either

And sorc's all have high Charisma! Of course they're beautiful, that's what charisma does *flees before being killed*

SO what do you mean by "Cheerleader standards"? You mean the whole cheery attitude and the loud and annoying stuff? Or the false idea that they're all the "uber hotness"?

Just curious. Either way, do it if you like. I don't see why it wouldn't happen. Break a leg!

My main isn't a jaw dropper! I too play the mediocre! And my Bard isn't either. Screw the high Cha = sexy rule! I hate it! My Bard has high Cha and he's average looking if I damn well want him to be! YAAAAAR!

As a matter of fact, my only jaw dropper is my Drow. ::sag nod::

Does a natural dex of 20 and Charisma of 22 meet these standards or does a strength of 8 let my sorc down?

She can spontaniously cast Bulls Strength and Endurance, empowered and extended, handy for those heavy manouvres and longer routines.

I bet his opponents will gag and gawk at the bouncing cheerleaders.

Or not so much, considering the C.A.F.C.A (Casual amian female clothing Attire)

My god, the voice of reason!

If you want sorority nonsense, go to college.

Nothing is more nonsensical than Bubbly Epic Characters that fawn over kittens, yet call up the most powerful of magic, casts spells of mass death, and touch planes of pure hatred, pure valor, and corruption.

it just makes no sense.

Eee double posts are evil yet I must make one.

Sorcerors usually cast based on their emotions more than anything else, so it makes perfect perfect sense that bipolar omg its a cute kitten hug omg you called me fat kill people exist in that world.

Being emotional and bipolar are two extremely different things. The first one is usually a high skill task. The second is even harder to pull of without looking kind of silly.

Fools.....

Everyone knows female armor has another type of armor rating. My plate bra and panties might be enchanted +5 with 0 armor class bit its pretty much a full plate with a +8 sexy mod as well...

I thought everyone knew that...

My not-so-appealing drow wizard NERD will just sit in her hole (Ultrinnan) and cry, I reckon.

Cheerleading mentality - yes. Obvious references to modern day cheerleading - no. (my opinion only)

Sorcerors are different than wizards.

They're emotional beings.

And... what non-evil/curm doesn't like kittens!?

I bet Elminster loves kittens.

So why do you need armour at all =P The base AC represents what the armour give ... for force field you enchant robes or other clothes.

But I digress.

I always steer clear of the "sexy armor" thing. The only one of my characters who wears fight gear that shows a lot of skin is my Ghostwise Hin. But his "armor" is cloth and leather and he's a tribal dude so... ::shrug::

With that said, don't sell your selves short ladies and gents! I know a chick who plays the drums in high heels. She has actually won awards for being the fastest double kick girl drummer. Crazy stuff ;)

Portraying someone who is bipolar is really easy.

At certain times run around adventuring, slaying dragons and risking your life. At other times stay at home sleeping a lot and staring listlessly at the wall.

In general, when people meet you you would be in your maniac phase. :P
