no. an AB bonus just provides AB and enchantment is both AB and damage. the higher AB bonus will show, and the enchantment damage will show.

for example:

+5 ab
+4 enchant
is +5 attack bonus and +4 damage

+3 ab
+4 enchant
is +4 to attack and damage. the +3 ab is overridden

They don't stack, the higher AB of the two applies, while the damage from Enchantment is retained.

This. And for the record, if you have a weapon thats +5 AB, it cuts through DR that is, say, 20/+5, just like enhancement would.

The only difference between enhancement and AB, is damage.

Additional fun fact:

The damage bonus granted by Enhancement is the same type of damage as the weapon's type of damage. Thus, a short sword with Enhancement bonus +2 would grant +2 piercing damage, while a long sword with Enhancement bonus +2 would grant +2 slashing damage.

Weapons which already feature bonus damage of the weapon's type will not gain extra damage from Enhancement. The higher value of the two will stack.

Example:

Long Sword
Enhancement Bonus +1
Bonus Damage: Slashing +3

The above weapon would only give you +1 to AB from the Enhancement and not the +1 to damage, as there is already bonus Slashing damage on the weapon of a higher number.

OP mention level req's though. As AB and Enhance are seperate listings on a wep, they will stack for the purpose of increasing the level requirement a wep has.

For example, level requirements ona longsword:

Nothing on it: Level 1

+4 Enhance ONLY: Level 13

+5 Attack ONLY: Level 9

+4 Attack AND +5 Enhance: Level 18

But as to how those things affect you, it's what everyone else mentioned.
