I'm no good at building characters, I much prefer the roleplay side of the game, but saying that i'd ,uch enjoy having a character that wasn't compleatly useless.
So if anyone knows a really really good bard build -thats really simple to follow- e.g level one this, level two this, level three this and take this blah blah. I'd be real grateful, thanks.

Well, the best bard build I ever had was actuialy a multyclass on a server with a lvl 40 cap. 21bard/19 cleric, there's alot of gods who love the bardic arts so it's not exactly a stretch for RP. Here I don't know that it would work aswell, but she was very effective the entire time I lvling her after lvl 5 or so. Curse song, high perform skill, and lots of buff spells is the key to an effective combat bard realy. Might want to throw in alot of heal for more support and the obvious trap removal skills. Lots of dex along with the charisma for more AC.
Never done much lvl by lvl build though: Extra music, curse song, tumble, weapon finess, toughness (1 extra hp per lvl doesn't seem like a lot but it can be the difference between life and death and I NEVER play a character without this feat), and remember you're not a tank!
