Every other game I play I don't have this issue, but when I log into NWN I get these black lines that flicker and scrol up then down my screen fast. I updated my graphics but it seems not to help. I am on Win 7 64 bit. please help. Send me a private message.

Did that, but it still does it. Its these black lines that gto left to right, and move from the top to bottom fast, and sometimes slow. I went to the link and ran the program and still hasn;t fixed the issue. I checked other games, and this doesn;t happen. It only work when I log on to NWN

Sounds like a refresh rate issue to me. I would try nwconfig.exe again since you updated the drivers. I would also have a look at nwn.ini and make sure the settings are how you want them, particularly:

[Display Options]
Width=1680
Height=1050
BitsPerPixels=32
RefreshRate=60

[Video Options]
Enable HardwareMouse=1
Enable VSync=1

These are my settings. They'll be a little different on your system. Try a few RefreshRates, but don't go too high. Like 60 and 75 for starters. Changing VSync and HardwareMouse are kind of a long shot, but worth a try.

That model is known to have issues with over-heating, I hope you have a laptop cooler for it.

That is a good one.

Your display only supports up to 18bit color. So you have to set your control panel to display no more than 16 bit color.

Right click your Desktop. Select Nvidia control panel, then go Display->Change resolution, then change it to 1440x900 with color depth of 16 bit.

You need to make sure the in game resolution's refresh rate is not out of range for your laptop's display, try setting it in game to 1400 x 900 @ 60hz.

While you're in the nvidia control panel click help-> system information and look up which driver version you have and post it here.
