I just use the Language Tools toolbar. Alt+LeftShift+1-6 turns my layout to English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish, respectively.

I've seen superscripts be written and occassionally some of these characters, but I've never figured out how. Is there a way of adding thise characters into our text in NWN when typing out speech or whatever for our characters? |

I believe Alt + Number Pad combination works (although for super- and subscripts I've no idea). |

Alt codes most likely. Times like this I wish they'd have done what NWN2 did, which is let you use BBCode in game. |

Just checked in game. Alt code does indeed work. http://fsymbols.com/alt-codes for a list. Edit: Just checked unicode. It doesn't seem to work. |

Yeah, I used to use that but Windows 7 isn't being friendly with multiple language support. |

Alt codes are Ascii/EBCDIC I believe. Not Unicode. Unicode is what you get when you change language settings in windows. |

On Windows it's Alt Codes, or you could connect a non U.S. English keyboard and it should change the keyboard layout for your native language. If you're on a Mac, same thing with the keyboard, but if you want to use special characters just hold down the Option (Alt) key, and press the letter e for acute, Option + grave for grave, Options + n for tilde, Option + i for circumflex, option + u for umlaut, Option + c for cedilla, Option + Shift + comma for macron, Option + Shift + period for breve, etc, etc. Here are two helpful charts, one with Alt Codes and one for OS X Option characters: http://www.starr.net/is/type/altnum.htm http://kb.iu.edu/data/aeqb.html |
