I have noticed a severe lack of necromancers on the server...or at least so few that Tarkuul was always empty when I was there...and I was there a lot. Is the server still like this? The forums, or at least Tarkuuls forum, is nearly empty by way of Forum side Roleplaying. Since that is the extent of my RPing in Amia at the moment, I would really like to have someone to Necrotalk to... |

he means that the lack of necromancer is due to no small part because of the activity of the Eternal Order. |

No, the people who play the reactions to the evilness of the character type right are just keeping necromancers low, scheming, and awesome. |

Well, instead of having my necromancer be openly evil, I thought he Carrion would get more done by being quiet, brooding and scheming, while trying to avoid direct confrontation as much as possible. |

Well, i think im the only Active Necromancer (Necrophant) in Tarkuul really, But... Alas im on Holiday, and the RP reasons for Mathan not being there makes me unable to reply to anything, and also when you said Kobold Sized room... Mathan does not like Lesser races. |

Well, the ideal situation would be a not overly aggressive group of necromancers (as to keep them alive long enough to do -something-) Im thinking semi-secret organization. Any suggestions? Also, it would be great rp for Carrion to try and break you out of that -no lesser races- mentality...at least for him. |

You could just go my route and play a necromancer who leads paladins and holy warriors into wars, all the while concealing the necromancer taint! ...Ah, personal amusement. Nah, I'm sure there are plenty of necromancers around. Just gotta be careful lookin' for 'em. |

Another reason why you don't see many necromancers might be becuse not all of them hang out in Tarkuul. Actually, some of them despise Tarkuul completely, hate oozing out of every pore on their body at the mentioning of Tarkuul. But that's just a minority and they usually stay incognito so it's rather doubtfull that you would meet one of them out in the open. |

With the EO out scourging Amia and Amia Abroad of undead taint, you'll be kind of hard-pressed to find a mage walking around waving the "I'm a necromancer!" flag. Heck, my necromancer got caught by the EO and didn't even summon an undead. You use one wail and you're labeled a necromancer and burned at the stake. Go figure. They're out there mate, trust me. |

Should not be hard if you go about your business in a secret fashion, do not agitate them if you encounter them and hence draw attention to you, and especially do not wear an outfit that already screams necromancer or very evil person. A simple polite lie about your god if your asked should do the trick. |

Correction: Druids don't like undead. Most other things Necromancers do don't really concern Druids. It just so happens that most black/evil necromancers do indeed summon undead and/or are also Palemasters. And so you get a lot of "hate toward Necromancers" with Druids and those who follow them. It is however, untrue that Necromancers are simply hated outright. Hell, some Druids are actually focused in the school of Necromancy. |

Don't be fooled - you're a necromancer, this makes you evil, and you're going to be pvp'd for it. Either be real good at hiding it and call the GMs when they metagame you, or power build so that you kill everyone anyway. Or both for that matter. That being said, good luck. |

That's a very simplistic view since if you're an open necromancer, with undead, it's considered bad roleplay for a druid to let that happen. It's a two sided coin. Just don't be stupid. Welcome to playing evil. You gotta learn to fight the uphill and deal with it. |

I never said running around with your army of the undead should be ignored by other people, just that when a random PC no one has ever seen before can yell "That man ate 3 merchants" for example, and the 20 or so people there just mob him to death...well, welcome to the fun. |

Tarkuul is probably the emptiest place on Amia, the only people who i ever see there is Me and the people going to the Merchants, or sometimes people who are coming to see me in the Temple, excluding the extremely rare Council meetings which from what i hear never happen anyway. And the Velsharan in temple don't exactly like being in Tarkuul anyway due to the Corrupt Voice of Tarkuul and them being a Faction of knowledge is power so they see no reason why they should give away all their Knowledge to it, so most of the things they do don't happen in the Temple anyway, or atleast the important stuff. |

Gägä has been talking about destroying Tarkuul for ages, but it has never been plausible. I once calculated that Gagis can destroy several several hundreds of standard DnD wraiths in very little over one minute. No number of undead is enough of a deterrent. |

Gaga? as in Lady GaGa? What? Who? I am Confused, scarey Man... DIE! But yeah, Nathano has hated Tarkuul pretty much since the first time he was kicked out, which was.. Many years ago.. around 2-3 years i think, We even came up with a plan when i was still allied with him to move the Idol but alas, the DM's did not want that, so we where forced to be away from our Temple for some mystical Unknown reason. Then Nath got let back in and banned for some other mystical unknown reason by the Voice himself, Mathan then became the Necromaster and retook the Temple and has... withered with Tarkuul for now, boredly. |
