For the love of all that holy (to you), please be more creative! Find another name instead of "hunting" I've grown incredibly tired of it. Thanks that is all.

I like "mindlessly bashing" personally. It describes it so well, how it's done most of the time.

My evil character would call it culling... killing the weak evil so the strongest evil survive.

Rikkudai purging, descimating, punishing, bringing rightful retribution to the den of the unjust, etc.

lets go kill stuff... or shal we go smash the brains out of things?

Said adventure just often happens to include going trough a lot of hostile creatures.

Self perfecting
Self cultivating (Similar to above, really)
Testing spells
Rippin' 'eads off!
Doing stuff.

Personally hearing people use the term "hunting" doesn't bother me. I don't use it myself, though. Unless I'm playing my hunter. In which case I use "hunting" liberally.

LET'S GO GAIN EXPERIENCE! Because no matter how you say it, this is still how it sounds, and it still sounds retarded in-character, so why bother trying to artificially assign some "in-character!!" phrase to replace it?

The concepts of leveling up and experience points are some of the dumbest in the entire game. Either accept the fact that it's semi-OOC and handwave it away or assign some sort of goal to every leveling session so that at least you have some in-character motivation other than "hunting" or "steal their shit."

I forgot to add "Looting" and "Raiding" to the list.

Not all 'XP farming' is OOC or even semi-OOC.

It really depends on the character.

"Hunting" is always IC, as far as I know. RP hunting is fun, anyway, if you can get into it.

this is my biggest problem with amia, I wouldn't BE "hunting" if I was still in range of other people I get along with. I know a few who are in my range still but half of them are now in the 20's =(

and since everyone start stops because of ABC loot you never level fast enough to keep up with those that don't care. I have 60 grand I don't need more full plate armour I need to be light so I can polymorph!

I think "hunting" is way more appropriate than asking "how many seasons?" or "four times enchanted".
