How does the extra hp work of palemaster? (pre-epic ones) Is dragon knight worth anything? Has dragon knights requirements been changed? (most notably that ride feat and 1 skill rank) |

I assume you mean EDK, Quote: Dragon Knight [Duration: 1 Round / CL] This spell summons a powerful dragon to your side based on your alignment as follows: • Good: Silver Dragon • Neutral: Prismatic Dragon • Evil: Red Dragon The Epic Spell Focus: Conjuration feat summons the dragon for 1 Turn / CL. also: Prerequisite: 21st level, the ability to cast 9th level spells, spellcraft 22 ^-- from nwn wiki -not- amia specific but I have to assume its the same else it would be impossible to build toward certain feats. as I found out the hard way you need 21 CASTER levels not total levels. ie 21 wizard 9 something else. I don't know if palemaster stacks with other mage classes. ed: you need epic spell focus conjuration aswell here on amia for this one guys? i'm half debating making a necro at some point =) |

Think he means Purple Dragon Knights, due to 1. Topic about Prestige Classes and 2. He said something about Riding skills! Other then that, i have no idea and have nothing futher to add D: |

I thought that until I read dragon -knight- rather than -colour- dragon disciple. more to add if you do mean EDK. Quote: The actual prerequisite is not the ability to cast level 9 spells, but being an epic cleric, druid, sorcerer, or wizard, or having at least 15 pale master levels. Furthermore, this feat can only be chosen when gaining a level in the qualifying class. again non amia specific. if you mean dragon disciple please say you mean dragon disciple. ed: ok now i'm just confused, yea ride skills...meh you asked about pale masters, this could be useful anyway. |

He means the prestige class called Purple Dragon Knight. As the class is now, it swings like a bedridden grandparent. Level 1 is useful for the forever spammable Heroic Shield. Otherwise the thingies are only good for PvBoss and PvP and still there would be better classes if you were to make a build only for those needs. |

PDK has of yet not been altered on Amia. |

It seriously needs to be, though >> It's like the original harper scout was, but with a bit better AB progression. |

PDK... Urgh... I tried to make a Paladin/PDK once for Amia. Without the stinkin' horse he's like a fly with no wings. |

I made a decent pal/PDK build for Amia, and I just winged it. I'm pretty sure if someone took more than 10-12 mins to make a build with 5 PDK levels, you could do it pretty damn decently. |

Nevertheless, as it stands, PDK is useless. EDIT: OOOOOH! WELL JUST RUB IT IN GRAVE! JEEZ! |

No, Svensk, it isn't. It can be used to great effect. Anyways, that's a discussion for the build topic. |

when I was reading Purple Dragon Knight, I was thinking that sounded awsome a commander who would have group buffs...ect but then noticed 5 level max, and skills were kind of junk. |

Increase the abilities a bit, then it will be fine, or remove the cap on levels for it. |

No.... not enough crap to use it on to micromange... All its abilities are to sort term, and not enough to make it a viable class for anything other then pvp or pvboss. |

The requirements for PDK should be altered into something like any non-evil and non-chaotic L21 and above Fighter. |

Would there be many Cormyran officers and elite warriors on the islands? Is there an Embassy? I thought about rolling up a PDK, but couldn't find a RP connection to Amia. |

Because there really is none. PDK is simila to Champion of Torm: It simply representsa charismatic "General" or "Knight" like character. |

There was a post at one point about removing alignment restrictions that got locked over an argument about lawful bards - is there any chance that CoT will ever have its alignment restriction unlocked, as it really does make no sense. |

There is one DM approved (knighted by a high ranking PDK NPC) PDK on Amia, she lives in Kohlingen. Also there is one PDK NPC who appears in Kohlingen frequently to look after the Cormyrian folks, but you can also ask my character ig, or the character of Kraniumbrud who is the mentioned DM approved PDK. If you are looking for a DM to help, then speak with Bobo. |

It's like taking the Harper Scout class. It won't make you a Harper. You must find the society ig or you must be found by them to become one. |

i've yet to see -any- harper scouts on amia. also since when was PDK nobility? unless of course the bards are just not mentioning they are harpers because ICly they arn't part of the secret society. ed: I don't know if =/= means =! (not equal too) but knights arn't nobility they are the staff. |

Perhaps some of the higher ranking knights may hold land and title, otherwise the average knight is just part of a elite troop. Does your knight have land and title? |

CoT is a champion named by their god, PDK is a champion named by their ruler. It's like being an officer instead of a soldier; they still answer to someone as part of an organized army, but they have a high status in it and probably underlings. |
