hey guys, I am like, ready to make my shifter character right now, and I was wondering if anyone has started on B before ?
I am going to build on A and maybe even do speedys for ease sake, and i'm not sure if there was a subrace activator on the B entry...
soloing caraigh was a little boring with null, and I never see alot of people on B comparing to A, let alone lowbies
would like to hear other players opinions of this idea, also anyone who wants to join me in my adventures on B is more than welcome =D I assume wiltun is the best place to gear up, but you might also want to grab a few things from your start on A like clothes and race specific stuffs.
so, if your planing on making a new toon hit me up with speedys or PM, 'her' names Hazy >_> find out IC I guess.

I have had great success with B-centric characters.

If you want an easy ride, start on A. B is a lot more challenging (by amias standards)

B is less linear and has less people to party with. People are mostly unfamiliar with the new places on B too so they avoid it. I don't mean it in a bad way, sometimes people just tend stick to their comfort zones. These include the usual overly hunted zones in A - Spiders*, FoD, & Yuan-Ti. Even after the last two places got heavily tweaked, people still go there a lot.
Other than that, it's not that much different. B has a subrace activator - it's a parrot in the welcome area. B has all the starter quests you'll need too. You don't have to limit yourself to B though, you can enjoy both servers. Get a party from A and persuade them to join your adventure on B.
* I wish this place had a lot less spawns.

Haha, if im honest, I wish the yaun ti had the spawn numbers set back to how they were (and had the xp reduced per spawn if necessary). That was half the fun!

well goblins arn't too tough to start with, but I guess i'll have to tank that place for a start. B deffinatly isn't easy, but even as a rouge by level 13 upward we we're going at the fire giants, like, 4 sparta style. would be nice to see a little balance between B and A, I remember another thread about having a speedys quest on B aswell, though there is a very immediate on B i can think of thats sort of like it =D
what I don't like about B is that everytime I go wandering something gnarly runs at me >_> but thats deffinatly going to be fun times.
I've walked nearly all of A (surface...) so I figure this is a good idea =D not enough people know their way around B and i'd like to change that. I am liking the increase in people going to B aswell, wiltun is nearly as packed as cordor on some days.

As someone who frequents B (i.e. just about lives there on her PCs), it is very rich and also not as difficult as people think to find someplace to level. The places are simply not well known so aren't in those beloved comfort zones.
B has at least 3 starter quests in Wiltun alone, two of which send you to Caraigh, Cordor has a quest that sends you to Caraigh, four quests in Nes'ek that I am aware of, Caraigh has just about five quests on it alone and areas ranging from beginner up to almost 10.
Three stores on Caraigh as well, you'll have to find them. Puns are worth it though.
Beyond that, you'd have to hit Endirs and explore around that area for a bit of the old "ultraviolence" and perhaps some really interesting RP. The (censored) alone is worth it along with the old paths through the (censored) in the woods if you can find the right spot.
As with anything to do with exploring, bring rope.

I've leveled characters entirely to 30 on B, its possible, more fun, a tad slower, and much more beautiful.

You can level from 3 to 30 on B and there are a lot of wonderful hunting grounds you shouldn't just walk by. The subrace activator on B is in the room behind you, when you log in. Shouldn't be easy to miss.
Use both of the servers if you want to get XP fast.

Doing Speedies' on A and then head over to B for the starter quests is actually the better way to start out easy.

by the end of last night I ended up on A but then again it was down for ages, and I needed to visit a certain deity's idol, since I bodged the name in the deity entry >_> all issues fixed now no worrys.
starting on B bugged my start points but after a quick set bind to slot 1 all was solved. I will say one thing, goblins and such on B are harder than the zombies to start with, if you get ambushed its awful >_> deffinatly need a party, I guess i'll try to recruit on both servers and go from there.
also there are alot of quests on B near the start, as well as one in cordor which takes you to B, its interesting to me cause you get some xp, and its generally tougher to solve the puzzles, rather than "bash kobolds, bash orcs...bash ghosts, read book etc..." I liked the keep quest even as a quick solo, but I still ended up doing speedys to level to 3...not enough xp to get started solely on B imho.
having dinner and such, i'll see you all in game in an hour or so =D having lots of fun with the rp aswell, still trying to finalize the job point spending and some more long run RP ideas, um, last point i'd like to make, the loot drops are awesome but the cost of boats is not, on B, as a starter. muchly a tough ride but totally worth it =D
