I would like to apologize those I attacked yesterday in the valley after the forest. As I tried to explain before, I crashed two times before the fight, probably because of the graphic effects. So when I went back, I just had the time to hostile a few of you (even being in the middle of the hostile group). And I engaged those first, before running to those I didn't had the proper time to set pvp.
I'm not used to behave like that, and I don't care about who's winning or not a pvp. To ask to change what happened in there won't be possible and might hurt even more. So, again, apologize for not setting pvp in time to a few of you. I care more about your friendship then winning the bloody battle.
I'm sorry I can't recall all the names, but again, apologize for that.
p.s: Just for the records, it seems some of you didn't set pvp to the other banite either.

Don't see any names, or Anything, And hence i don't think it's violating that rule? Just a good'Ol'fashioned Mass-Apology... Albeit a bit hollow with that "Ps" at the bottom.

You must set all members of the opposing party to Hostile before performing hostile actions. You can do this with the tool in your inventory or through the player list. 7. If you do not give the other party time to observe the usual protocol, you can't expect them to stick to the protocol. This means that by resting, buffing or other such preperations to hostility, you forfeit your right to a warning: The other party may attack you immediately to stop you. If you have not set them to Hostile before, you can't blame them for having to act without it. Both parties should strive to set eachother to Hostile after the immediate reaction, however. so if it just brakes out into PVP and the attackers only hostile afew in hopes or buying time by wasting the defenders time by making trying to search the party list to hostile in hopes they have killed some of them allready, they can attack without hostile.

The intent of the rules you quote, corypx, is that everyone does their best to adhere to the protocol but can be flexible when things don't go ideally. Not that you can intentionally attack without setting Hostile because the other party didn't, or something. The only thing that matters is that things go smoothly and nobody has to leave with a bad taste in their mouth.
Specific incidents or not, I think it's a nice thing to apologize here. It's certainly not against the spirit of the rule, whose purpose is to avoid public mud-slinging and subjecting cases to the judgement of public opinion.

I myself asked all to set pvp through an ooc statement and set all Target players to hostile.
What's done is done, we can only hope future pvp goes smoothly

Since there were eight-nine against three, it might be possible someone else missed that warning as well. As for my part, probably I missed that doing the crash, or they didn't see my name on the list because of that. Perhaps, for the best of the RP, in cases like this, you're in the middle of a fight without hostile anyone, or you didn't have the time to hostile all the players, the best to do would be: we could assume you fled away or you surrendered yourself, so no need to fight, because you would probably got them unprepared doing the situation (so you would get an advantage on that).

I will be locking this once the general gist of the apology and conversation is done just for tidiness and so it doesn't devolve after the point is done, since a topic like this only needs to be open long enough for what's needed to be said to be said. Anyone else can simply read.
