Same thing as every. Dms are volunteers. There are bound to be times, perhaps days, when they're all busy doing RL things.

DM have also been busy fixing all the things that got screwed up with the hacker and dealing with the griefer in wiltun.

There is also the fact that the majority of DM's are limited to a specfic timezone. Very sucky, but not much that can be done about it. The one Aussie DM is also busy with Dev/Balance work.
