| Post subject: | Question about Epic Fiendish Servant |
Hello there, I'm fairly new to this community, i recently started playing a character that i will most probably consider my main one. It's a blackguard, and all is going nicely so far. However, i plan on taking the Epic Fiendish Servant feat in the late epic levels, and here's where i am at a loss on how does this work. First of all, here are two quotes that are raising my concern on how to acquire this feat: Quote: The Epic Fiendish Servant feat grants the fiend the following benefits: Quote: Book of Vile Rituals At Amia, the Blackguard may receive the Book of Vile Rituals which gives them an upgraded Epic Fiend summon. This is only given to those who show dedication and display excellent roleplay in their class. I have two questions: Is the EFS feat free to take whenever i meet the requirements, or is it unavailable for selection [disabled] and only granted via the Book of Rituals item? Second question, is it possible to keep the Erinyes summon and still have the EFS feat? Or perhaps, as i heard from one player, i can request a "re-skin" of the Infernal summon, and how does this work? Thanks in advance, Aeqvinox |

Epic Fiendish Servant is free for anyone to take. Unfortunately your Erinyes will automatically update. You would normally be able to eskin it bac, but also unfortunately, we use a PC race model for our Erinyes, which is something you can't reskin to. The ritual book is a quest associated item for characters who make the request: It grants a more powerful fiend, but is only available to characters with 16+ Blackguard AND the Epic Fiendish Servant feat. |

TormakSaber wrote: The ritual book is a quest associated item Kinda reviving an almost dead thread here, but by "quest associated", do you mean a DM Plot, or just a scripted NPC Plot? |
