So I've finally figured out how I can play as Captain Leprous Jack Dreggs here on Amia.

TAKE OUT EVERYTHING THAT IS UNDEAD!

so now he can be called "Captain Dreggs" or his real name "Captain Henry" but thats not fearsome.

He will stay as a half-elf, fighter/rogue and everything else about him but, mince his body parts falling off. He'll be as normal-ish like every other character on amia.

If this good for all of you DM's then please allow me to play as him once again. But, if you Dm's wish to add anything else to my character please do, i can use the suggestions.

If you dont want me to use him -AT ALL-, it is understandable.

So, you want help with character development?

orginally, Captain Leprous Jack Dreggs is a pirate whom has Undead like features due to him being cursed by a witch. His limbs fell off and he can reattach them back on him. The Dm's didn't like that because he had to much, god like appearence and undead features.

Which now, I understand why they are like that. but, captain leprous can still die with his curse on him. but, I dont think it still would matter at this point.

NOW: what I am thinkings is just taking out his curse COMPLETELY. If the Dm's like that, then i can play as him again.

so i am waiting for there responces over my character.

As well I am taking any suggestions that can make Leprous be more unique here on amia.

Also, of course, I will keep the name "Leprous on him" if, hopefully, the DM's allow me. I can make up the backstory of why he's called that.

There's a lot of ways to approach it, if I understand your post right.

If you are looking for something to make him stand out as foul or infectious without an undead curse, you could have him riddled with other common, minor ailments. They could even be catching- but easy to be rid of for other characters who would make the effort. (Like lice, scabies, warts, ringworm, fleas, nail fungus, ect) It wouldn't kill anyone, but it would give most who encountered him a reason to feel they need, at the least, a good bath.

Having him have little care for that sort of thing, possibly even being fully aware that he creeps others out might add to the general creepiness factor. The downside, of course, is that this isn't going to win any charm school awards, and you'll have to walk a fine line to make sure it doesn't get too gross. It's also a very mundane interpretation of 'leprous'- but if it's played well, it could be very unique.

Did you really just now figure this out? I could have sworn we told you that was the solution ages ago...

HAHA you did Yossian but, I wanted to figure out how I could approach this. How I could keep some of his properties. But, it turned out that everything I was thinking of, wouldn't work.

Plus finding a new, minor, aliment won't work. Fleas, fungus, and etc just won't work for him.

So, I'll just make him a dirty old half-elf Pirate.

I don't understand the question. It sounds as though you've already decided what Jack is. "Dirty old half-elven pirate" isn't exactly a vague concept. what more are you looking for?

Yea, true. I all ready knew what all of you said. I just wanted to take time and rethink him.

Here's a suggestion for an unique character. Develop a personality, not a godlike features. The thing many people do not see is that minor, indifferent things are the ones who are making your character unique. Not the wings, or glowing eyes, or hooves.. small things. Does he like to roll a coin over his fingers? Does he have a golden tooth? How did he get it? Perhaps he likes badgers? Or refusing to use Amia cart system becouse he is afraid of the horses? Focus your energy on personality, do not brainstorm, trying to invent a situation in his past, that will give him godlike features. Sure, RPing a horrific, sick and physically scarred character sounds like fun, but only if you accept such features as disadvantages instead of trying to turn it to your own gain.

He can still die an all, just not by fire or regular weapons but, can die from acid, dark magic or weapons, holy spells or weapons, Ice *dies faster from Ice*, and if his curse is removed.

but, Still won't matter.

Now as for finding something more unique, well maybe players or you Dm's can help me with that. so that everyone can enjoy his pressence. or not.

your idea with trying to be unique is the problem, like you want to be something diffrent so you wanted to play a undead Mr.Potato-Head.

you want to be unique maybe make a PC who becomes a inventer and invent, then request a DC spawner of something you came up with and sell it. Amia lacks crafters (basic feat potions,wands and scrolls dont count)

And now I am interested with the "inventor". I will actually make Captain Dreggs an "Inventor". I was all ready thinking that for him and I hope I can do that for amia. I might need help on how I can do that, though.

P.S.

In my opinion, a character can be godlike if he/she can not be killed by -anything- not by magic or any special weapon.

Captain Leprous's "disembodiment" is not godlike since he can still die by other things besides regular swords, reg-axes, reg-knives, reg-arrows and etc and cant die by fire but, still

Not relevent anymore...

in that case, not even gods are godlike for they sure can be killed both by weapons and magic.

DM's are gods though.

If I may:

I wish to re-create Captain Leprous or Captain Dreggs, with a new bio and head. and I also wish that I could have his old stuff and EXP transfered to the new one.

Is that possible?

You can change the bio yourself in game, and a DM can do a head change for free. No need to make a new version for just that.
