I'll try not to make this a rant. But so far im just not getting the RP here. I haven't gotten involved in any DM events or snippets at all. I walked around Cordor Central for an hour RPing to myself and trying to get involved and then I hear the shout that its over. The only thing I see people do is hunt monsters and be ass holes in Bendir Dale. I hear shouts all the time in game.. i constantly ask if I could be involved or where the event is happening but with no response at all. Where are all these things happening at? I go back and forth between cordor and bendir sometimes walk the roads. Where do I go for all this RP? What do I have to do to get involved? I mean.. is there a special place these things happen at? Am I missing something here? I have a great character and I am really into him. I'm just getting tired of RPing about pointless stuff in town and killing monsters all the time. I kind of want to develop my character |

Well...I would suggest reading the actual ongoing events in the DM events. It should give you the idea where the actual events are taking place. Also try to get involved in a faction roleplay, it could help you. |

Okay, a quick observation. From another post in another thread, I see you play Trip. I think finding RP with him is hard because from the limited interaction with him I had, he is very anti-social. That in itself will push people away most times. |

I tried playing a social character before and I got about the same amount of reaction. I thought it was him so I switched to the opposite. Now I think it may just be me. |

After watching some things on the other screen, calling someone an "ignorant whore" thirty seconds into meeting them for no justifiable reason, isn't likely to get you included into a lot of RP. Just saying. |

I think one of the challenges with Trip is that he's a monstrous race... As someone that plays a kobold and a surface drow, I can tell you it's really not easy to get people to like you, let alone trust you. But that's really part of the fun being a monstrous race, really. My suggestion is just keep at it and try not to be discouraged. The initial distrust/suspicion/complete and utter hatred is a given. You can either prove the people wrong by persevering and rising above their pettiness, or join the horde of evil players who are really active at the moment. |

I'll keep at it. I like this server and I dont wish to leave. And as I said this isn't Trip specifically, it is to all my characters who all I have different personalities. Which I think it may be something that I am doing wrong or perhaps missing something important here. |
