I had a question regarding the DC's of spells on items or weapons. As I understand it, a typical spell DC is determined by 10 + Spell Focuses + Attribute Modifier + Spell level. How does this work when a spell is cast from a weapon or item? Is it the same? Would a person with a higher attribute modifier wield the item to greater effect?

Nope, the DC would be the spell level. So casting Wail of the Banshee from a wand would be DC19. So more a flail of the banshee as opposed to a wail.

Aww.. That's so lame. Okay, thanks.
Well, I guess if that's the case, those kinds of spells on a custom weapon would be considerably weaker than the casted version, so maybe even more readily available. Hm. RP deserving, of course.
