If I understand the deity system correctly, a character can change deities any time before lvl 10 just by praying at the idol of the new deity. Will this also mean that the character can change her domains to match those of the new deity? Or does the domain changer NPC in the maintenance room only work once per character, regardless of the deity change?

afaik, you can't change it. However, you can request a DM to reset them for you, which we can do IG.

Would that reset be something that a DM would be inclined to do just as a gimme, without a formal request, according to the same rationale that lets lowbie characters switch up deities willy-nilly before level 10?

(Edit:) Within reason, of course. I'm not imagining anybody being sympathetic to a lowbie switching deities more than once.
