We need a builds section in this forum. Someone must said this. I've lurked 3 days through this "how to fish" thread. Please, make a builds section. Thanks.

Like, a section with outlined builds for each class?
I don't know why, but I find myself disagreeing with the notion on principle. I think its because rather than taking people's ideas and helping them tweak them (Like we do on the current build thread), it'd be suggesting builds, offering someone the ability to snag builds without their own initiative.
I don't know. Its hard to explain why I think it would be a bad idea. Lemme come back to this.

See, the same Amian etiquette that applies to lore questions applies to questions about building; someone asks in regards to something and they receive an answer as opposed to the answers just being plastered all over the place by overzealous posters.

Make your own build.
Copying someone else's build or work is lazy, and lame. Personally I disagree with the "teach a man to fish" thread, because it just encourages this behavior, but at the same time I realize it can be beneficial to bounce ideas, as per the original intention of the thread.

Exactly what I am saying since the "Teach a man to fish" thread creation. Kudos.

Its better off you start off with a character concept, such as who/what he or she is and build around that. With a concpet in place then try to emulate it with classes and skills.
This is an RP server and without the above you'll end up running around at level 30 and probably get bored. With the concept in place you can work towards that characters goals, ultimately becoming more fulfilling experience in my opinion.

It's been discussed before. Not happening.
